Volume is an issue when you try to tell other people what they can and can't post. You'll note that I've not attempted to tell you what you can and can't post. I quite deliberately didn't nominate a team or district in the original post. You for some reason have concluded (a) that I was...

World Rugby Sevens Caravan coming to Sydney

You're probably right, but I'd have thought that staging an international event at one of these new stadia would be just the sort of publicity that the NSW government would like given that one of their reasons for rebuilding stadia is to attract international events. I wonder if anyone from RA...

World Rugby Sevens Caravan coming to Sydney

In terms of rectangular grounds in Sydney, Concord and Penrith at the least worst options. (Unless the ARU could prevail upon the government to get Parramatta Stadium finished by the first week in February - in which case the event would have the perfect venue in terms of size, configuration...

World Rugby Sevens Caravan coming to Sydney

It could, but Concord Oval and Penrith both have far better facilities than Brookvale. Facilities at Brookvale are in a 1970s time warp.

World Rugby Sevens Caravan coming to Sydney

There are no good options, the least bad option is all that there is.

World Rugby Sevens Caravan coming to Sydney

View looks worse than I first thought. I've only been there for show jumping and other Easter Show events. In terms of rectangular grounds in Sydney, Parramatta Stadium would have been best, but probably not available in Feb 2019. Beyond that, in no particular order, there would be Concord...

World Rugby Sevens Caravan coming to Sydney

Glad that they've moved away from the Australia Day long weekend back to February. I'd have thought that the new Parramatta Stadium would have been a better option - due to open in 2019, although in fairness maybe not ready for the first week in Feb...

    NSW AAGPS 2018

And apparently no idea how to use reflexive pronouns either.

    NSW AAGPS 2018

Year 12 mid course exams about to start, so there must be a bit of down time in the boarding houses. :)

The bloke who has made 11 posts tried.;)
  11. Quick Hands

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

He obviously knows what happens in every junior team in every club in Sydney if his posts are to be believed. Sigh.

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

It's not rubbish, it's a fact. I'm not quite sure what the glass houses comment relates to as I have never sought to excuse the club or school that I support from criticism. It's relevant because the thread relates to recruiting and it was in direct response to a post which discussed club...

One also suspects that he also eats most of the pies that he puts his finger in.:)

I'm sad to say that the base is narrowing further. At least one under 14 team recruiting boys of larger builds from some distance away so that they can stay in A division. It seems that teams can't play A division without a team of behemoths anymore.

The tent is very small though, and only a limited class of clown is admitted.;)

Indeed KP. And he's inside every tent at the circus, including the big top now with the Shore connection. He even works for the people who tell you whether or not the circus is going well or not.;) You'll note that he's never actually taken on a role at which his success can be measured -...

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

According to the article on the link in post #6826 TSC won't receive any government funding for this project. Fully funded by parents/old boys/benefactors.

You have to give it to Lambert, he does nothing by half. Will this edifice have a throne room for his use?;) https://www.tsc.nsw.edu.au/library-upgrade

    There isn't a pie that he doesn't have a finger in. He's also a f/t media commentator.;)

I see that there was no mention of the introduction of "leadership scholarships" (nudge nudge wink wink) for new Year 11 students as part of the "new Shore rugby programme.;) http://massmail.fi.net.au/t/ViewEmail/j/A17A3379C6F26AC92540EF23F30FEDED/66BB1B6ACC3B23C8AF060D6555554232
