Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

For those who may be interested in who did all of the Ruck work for the Wallabies in the Sydney Test. Remember: 1. Early means 1st or 2nd of player’s team AFTER the ball carrier has been tackled and brought to ground. 2. Impact means active engagement: strong physical contact, changed shape...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

If that's Skelton having a "pretty good game" then we've certainly lowered our standards of what we expect from a Wallaby Lock. 55 minutes game time - his average in Super Rugby 2016. Contribution: + 8 carries for ZERO m (1 Off Load) + 4 tackles + 3 Penalties conceded + Nil Line Out Wins (or did I miss...

Pleasing to see Coleman getting a chance to test his game at this level. But I hope he lets his game do the talking and NOT try and out-Itoje Itoje.

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Rather than talk about what Skelton COULD do in this game can I suggest we have a look at what he HAS done for the Waratahs in Super Rugby in 2016. He has averaged 55 minutes per game. In those 55 minutes he has averaged: + 5 tackles + 7 carries for 8 metres + A Clean Break every 5 games (1...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

:) Exactly why I gather the Ruck Stats as I found it too hard to assess the work of Forwards without them. Tackles alone and TOW without the Ruck Stats only tell part of the story.

And one of his tackled made was the try-saving tackle (something the Wallabies have been struggling with) on Yarde. DHP has the potential to be the next AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) with a better boot.

Just to help the discussion, here's some relevant stats for key No7s and No8s after Round 13 in Super Rugby. I do realise that neither McCalman nor Holloway are available for selection in the 3rd Test. Thomson included for comparison purposes only. NOTE: 1. These are average stats per 80...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

ESPN Scrum gives him 11 carries for 14m. FoxSports always seems to blow out run m.

And an absolute bitch to collect the stats and get them right. I vote to kill the spidercam (but keep it for ohead on scrums) as the long shots make player id bloody difficult/time consuming.

    Crusaders v Waratahs, Round 13, 20 May 2016

Who did most of the ruck work for the Waratahs in this match? The strategy of standing off Defence Rucks obviously changed after Half Time. The Waratahs had only 15 Defence Ruck involvements in the first half. Ruck involvements over time Highest contributions by Backs: Horne - 12...

Force v Blues, Round 13, 21 May 2016, NIB Stadium

Absolutely played for Uni. How did I be so wrong? Maybe just wishful thinking...... Luke Burton has recovered from a serious ankle/lower leg injury which has prevented him from playing much at all.
