Predictions for 2012: SUPER RUGBY - The Super 15 finals will consist of the same 6 finalists as last year. - Sharks to top the SA conference - Favorable draws will see the Tahs and the Blues top their respective conferences - The Rebels will have a respectable record at home, but will be...

Wallabies vs Wales, Sunday Dec 4

that was great. the rest of his game last night was horrible.

This could have been rather awkward

I recall sitting next to Tony Carrol on a flight to Sydney in 2009 (?) He was on his way down for Origin after being called into the Queensland Camp on late notice... nice guy. We watched top gear together and he shared his starburst with me. ....It was the greatest moment of my life....I've...

    New Zealand Super Squads

Would be nice to see a list of the players that have left each side. On the subject of the Chief. I cant see them being serious title contenders. They'll certainly trouble some teams. A strong centre pairing and nice looking backrow. But last year they were outmuscled by the better packs...

3rd Place Play Off - Wallabies v Wales.

I'd love to see Quade play really well alongside Barnes. It would be nice to see some light at the end of the tunnel for him at no.10. Alternatively, I hope he plays terribly so that we can turn our attention to a new no.10.

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

For what it's worth I think the Blacks would beat us if we go purely on Player vs Player, but it's all about being greater than the sum of your parts. Something we proved to the Kiwis in 2003... GO WALLABIES!

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Player vs Player match-ups are obviously meaningless, but it is always an interesting excerise and a fun point of debate prior to a big game. Fills the time....in actual fact they are probably more productive than reading most of the articles the journos are spitting out at the moment. It must...

Will you still be interested in a RWC final without the Men in Gold (or your team)?

Yes..mostly just to see whether the All Blacks choke...frankly, if Aus don't win, I 'd like to see the All Blacks win. because a) lets face it they are overdue b) it has been a hard year for the people of NZ and c) keep those Northern Hemisphere wannabees as far away from that trophy as possible.

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Good question. But i think the answer is yes... one moment of brilliance could win it for us this weekend. We saw last week that the early try was the difference. Even if he's only going to last for 50 minutes, I'd still select him.

Who is going to win the cup

It depends who makes it to the final. If NZ get past Oz, theyll take the final. If the wallabies get up this weekend, then it will depend who they play. I think Aus vs Wales in the final is too hard to predict. Australia would love to face France in the final. I would consider Australia is...

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

Not that this has anything to do with this weekend's game but am I right in thinking the Wallabies will face Wales later this year. That should be a great game. WC final rematch perhaps? :D. BTW- does anyone know whether Horne is in the selection frame for next week???

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

I thought quade was pretty good in the Italy game and the final game of the tri-nations (foul play aside). He has been very closely watch by teams lately. He did do a few good things on the weekend. I think with a player like quade you are going to get those games where he looks dangerously...

G&GR Wallaby Player of the Year v Boks (RWC QF)

3.Pocock 2.O'Connor 1. Elsom Must say im surprised that so many people had Elsom and Vicks in their top three. Yes they were great around the field but the line-out, which is their domain, complete fell apart so I cant put either of them on a pedestal.

RWC 2011 SF2: Australia vs. New Zealand

On the plus side, you'd have to think Cooper couldn't play as bad as he did today. I'm actually more confident than i was before today of Australia progressing to the final. The All Blacks certainly aren't as good as they are with Dan Carter. Id go with Cruden, but Cooper is capable of...
