    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

He may not be "the one" but he is big, fast and very strong and looks suited to test rugby like his brother. Saying he has hands like feet or that he "is not a test 8" is a little premature. Neither were David Pocock or Sean McMahon and the jury is still out on both of them at 8. Hopefully...

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

Thats pretty harsh judgement on Timani. He has played a lot of his rugby at 8 before being thrown into the second row at the Rebels. It was a bad move for him and we may have seen him in gold much earlier had that not been the case. He actually has pretty good hands and a much better offload...

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

I reckon it is Douglas/Coleman as long as they have a good lineout target at 6. And maybe one at 8

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

It is going to be tough at altitude so maybe both these blokes get a half at 8. Cheika just needs to decide who to start with. The Boks seem to be in a little disarray right now so it's a very good opportunity to win at Loftus for the first time. Finishers will be all important.

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

Wont happen. Foley is kicking near 100% over the past few tests and is working well with QC (Quade Cooper). Maybe a move to 12 late in the game is on for Hodge if we are winning well or losing with no hope.

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

TBF McMahon has struggled to have an impact at test level against top level sides until recently. His sort of straight on ball carrying is not always effective against big well organized packs. He was very impressive on the weekend and had his moments at the RWC. The jury is still out on him...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

The back row will have some bearing on which locks are starting and visa versa. With Pocock not available I would imagine the 4,5,6 requirements may be a little different. It will be interesting to see what Cheika goes with. Pococks ruck involvements and defense are huge and Douglas may get back...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

Kerevi is building into the role and he carried the ball very well. He once again made a few basic errors that cost the team. The unnecessary looping cutout pass in the 22 and the kick, which turned out alright but he should not be kicking the ball away when we are hot o attack and have not been...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

I agree to a point FP. The other key is having the person with the ball in his hands creating doubt in the minds of the opposition. Quade does it when he runs at the line as does Will Genia when he has both hands on the ball. Both of them have the ability to hit runners at anytime. Foley can do...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

The inside balls from Quade for the two tries were excellent but he was better all around in the previous game against the Boks. By that I mean that his defense was more front on and direct and he underplayed his hand better holding onto the ball under pressure so that we could retain...

He is starting to over play his hand a bit. Last week was very solid with some nice straight up tackling and good distribution. This week he regressed a little to trying to make something spectacular happen with every involvement, which did on 3-4 occasions.

Within a year we could have an excellent young pack with time on their side for 2019. Something like but not necessarily this. There will be a lot of competition for places Allaatoa Latu Robertson Arnold Coleman Cottrell Hooper Timani

Of course Cheika is just switching the locks around and having a giggle at us the punters. There is no rhyme or reason but he sure is getting a kick out of it. Yeah we have lost a couple along the way, but hey, its fucking hilarious.

Pretty tough there Scrubber. Any win will do me on the weekend and looking for a 30-40 point margin seems a little over optimistic. This is not the Pumas of old, or even of last year, and we are not the same Wallaby side that contested the RWC in 2015.

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

Coleman and Simmons can be a very good combo in the second row. There is always the option to replace one with Arnold and the other by moving Mumm into the second row to be replaced by McMahon or preferably Timani. The whole starting back row are 80 minute players. We might see a 6/2 bench for...

So you are an advocate of Kerevi at 12 Lee?

Is Pocock available for the EOYT or does his sabbatical start after the RC and final Bled?
