Absolutely. I agree with all of this. Foley at 12 a good example. I think playing him at 12 was a fair call to begin with, although now that Hodge has really stepped up and is defending at 12 I really don't see the plus side in persisting with Foley there.

Of coarse it is just our opinion. This is an internet forum, the whole point is to express your opinion. It would be a little boring if we just stated obvious facts and statistics.

My point wasn't that he was not blooding "new blood". He has. The stats say 10. Mypoint was, he should have done it sooner with certain players, For example Timani. And certain incumbents should have been dropped earlier. I don't think he got the balance right with new blood and experience...

No. Mitchell was injured and Douglas was returning from a long-term injury, played only 1 super xv game and he still gave him a lot of game-time. He did stick with Kuridrani for the England tests and dropped him probably later then he should have. So he didn't "Opt for new blood". He played...

He's been reluctant to blood certain new blood. Timani the example. I think it's worked a bit of both ways, but Brumby Runner brought up some good points. Toby Smith, Horwill, Speight, Morahan? Really? These guys were hardly on Cheika's radar previously. Smith, Speight and Morahan could...

Injuring their player won't work with the depth they have. Barrett goes down insert sopaga who is still better then our flyhalves :(

Timani has height but no experience. Could very well work in the future but would struggle now. McMahon is under-rated in the line-out IMO but still doesn't have the reach of a Fardy/Mumm.

For the bench. I rather like the idea of Hooper and Timani starting. (unless Poey is 100% then Poey & Timani sounds great to me) Maybe McMahon can take Mumm's spot at 6 but not sure how the line-out will go.

That's could be the issue though couldn't it... tactics which are over-done become ineffective. Genia has been superb this season, but previously he was in a bit of a rut and certainly over-done the side-ways drifting/stepping to the side - probably built up a bit of a reputation from it. For...

Do any of those guys have a great running game though? I swear sniping runs from Aussie 9's are a rarity these days - apart from a couple from Genia recently but still not the running threat he used to be.

Frisby who is next in line. Maybe Powell. None are great options - yet. Stirzaker had a poor super xv season, not sure how his form was in the NRC.

A big loss if Genia goes. Although if you take the medic incident out of last week I think it was a noticeable uplift in tempo once Phipps was on the field. Passing seemed crisp to me. We probably still lose that cool head and game manager which is quite valuable inside Cooper but Phipps...

Great point. I'd like to see Folau given those same jobs. Eg. Getting off his wing and getting into position for inside balls off Quade - similar job as Digby. Further to that he can stay on the wing on occasion and get himself into position for cross-field kicks (more frequently then from...

    10. Cooper - we need a flyhalf who can set-up and manage a back-line first and foremost 12. Kerevi - distributon getting better 13. Kuridani / Hodge - both hard in attack and defence 14. Folau - I've always liked him on a wing with a roving commission. 15. Beale - there's your second playmaker...

Hooper has been consistent and played every game. AB's have had injuries in the 7 jersey so hard to choose a player of the tournament for guys who have had limited game time. Kepu was a surprise. Kerevi makes sense.

Why are we dropping Sio now that the has finally hit some form? 3 games ago I would have agreed but it now seems to me he is playing better then Slipper who struggled in the scrum last few games.

Plus he did that same run against the AB in his debut? I think? So it's not a one-off it's something in his game that he does often. I'd be surprised if anyone didn't have Coleman as their first choice lock at this point in time.

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

It's not the same as the Grey incident. The medic on the field had zero effect on the game (until Phipps pushed him and was penalised) because the ball was dead. It wasn't in play. Grey deliberately went out of his way to played the ball so that England could not have a quick line-out - so...

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

I have a feeling like Cheika's influence around aggression is rubbing off on the players the wrong way. Cheika always wants to instil the "never take a backwards step" mentality - fair enough. But our players seem to take it the wrong way and forget that it needs to be controlled aggression...

I don't rate McMahon in that role, but I do Hooper - which is why I thought it was strange.
