RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

The stats above suggest that the game was close. Previous Tah Coaches used to try and reduce our beautiful game to a series of numbers that accountants can understand, and obfuscate shizzen performances. Fail.

Apparently decided like Eurovision, Big Brother voting out and the like. A popularity contest divorced from any rational comprehensive analysis of comparative player skills analysis or game day contribution.

I have someone on Twitter having a go about me (and Australians in general) for not being gracious in victory. It would be nice if that same chap (and others of his ilk who are used to vainglorious victories based on sanctioned illegalities) reminded their press to similarly be gracious in...

Is this the Chris "Nobby" Malone effect? Remarkable turnaround if it was, and throwing the Super Rugby Supporter hat on for a while, it augers well for the Tahs in 2016 if it is. Eitherway it beats kicking coaching by Skype.

RWC: SCO v RSA (St James Park): POOL B

Bokke coming right in time for the important bits of RWC 2015. Remember that Les Frogges came within a gnats dick of winning the last RWC after they lost a pool game to Tonga. Bokke know how to play finals footy.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Having dispatched all 3 Minnow nations in our Pool, TGC (and most of the keyboard warriors on here) must be close to finalising their Matchday 23 for the knock out phase of the RWC 2015. #BringBackBill

The benchmark is #BringBackBill. Bugger #Believe and whatever other latest market tested slogans that the ponytail wearing marketing experts want us to get on board with. It is time for the non-believers to get on the #BringBackBill bandwagon. You know it's right.

I'll watch it, but then I do like to see two minnows battle it out head to head on the rugby field.

4:50 am in Soap Dodger Land ATM. Expect the Interwebs to really fire up in a frenzy of self flagellation and Witch Hunting that the Taliban would be proud of in about 4 hours. Gunston Corp International IT Division are on standby to handle the overload and surge when they wake up in Pommieland...

Ranfurly Shield, ITM Cup & Heartland Championship: NZ domestic comps 2015

It's an overcast 35 degrees in Olde Sydney Towne ATM and we can see the ITM Cup from Inverrrrrcarrrgil on the tele between "local storm" interdiction. It is pissing down and 13 degrees. Good preparation for playing Munster at Thomond Park, (Scotland at Newcastle, NSW) and polar exploration...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

I make Eng drop to 7th place just 0.11 points ahead of ARG in 8th, and 0.72 points ahead of SCO in 9th place. It is getting tight at the bottom of the single digits ranks. FRA leapfrogs ENG into 6th place. It is all a little academic with IRB Rankings not meaning not a lot ATM.

Probably be a whole lot more of these packages that will now come on to the market offering access to previously sold out England games. Oh, that's right, there's only one more England Match to go.

It's a good idea to select a member of the minnows team as the MOM. It's just a participation award that may encourage all minnow nations to try to qualify for Japan RWC 2015.
