    Reds v Force Rd 8 2014

Got to remember that the Bulls and Brumbies are the only members of the top 6 who have played 7 games. Everyone else is on 6. The Crusaders and Highlanders are the only teams within reach of the top 6 who are also on 6 games.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I did watch them all. And I think you are dead wrong. I can't be bothered going to the effort of explaining why you are wrong because what you are saying is so far from the truth that it wouldn't be worth the time.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I'd put Godwin in the same boat. I think To'omua would be ahead in that regard based on his EOYT form, but the downside for To'omua is he is playing 10 at the moment. Pretty sure I heard talk in the press conference after the Reds game of Godwin being considered at 13 (a la Conrad Smith). If it...

    Force v Tahs, round 9 2014

It'd better not be. Anyone who thinks Nic Phipps is better than Alby Mathewson has a serious crack problem.

23 New Western Force Jersey Sponsors in 2014

I wonder what the Force's jersey would look like if it was reversed (i.e. black kit with blue swan logo on the back).

    Force v Tahs, round 9 2014

Folau is an absolute key for the Tahs. No Folau = kicking for territory and pressuring the Waratahs line-out. It sounded like there are some niggles with Douglas. The line-out is the only target that sticks out for the Tahs. Folau = kicking a very dangerous thing to do. We have a habit of...

    Reds v Force Rd 8 2014

If colliding aimlessly and meaninglessly into the opposition and then writhing around on the floor in pain for a few minutes isn't considered a tackle, why do so many missed tackles get attributed to Quade Cooper? Yeah. I know it's stirring, but I couldn't help it.

    Reds 2014

@ Tranquility- I don't mean to come off as being righteous. I actually think the Force has the same problem. Too many backrowers in the same mould. Second rowers who are big on work rate and low on impact. Outside of Force v Reds games, I want you guys to tear oppositions apart. This is partly...

    Reds 2014

With an attitude like that, of course they won't. I always thought Mumm was a pretty good player at Super Rugby level. Like Chisholm, better suited to Super Rugby than Tests. Leroy Houston may not have been much when he was last at the Reds, but that was a couple of years ago and who knows what he has...

    Reds 2014

I didn't say there were 5 Palu's running around and neither did I say I expected anything of you. I just said that this was the problem. When was the last time we (i.e. the Force) "poached" a top line backrower or lock from either the Waratahs or the Reds? Someone you had put meaningful...

    Force v Tahs, round 9 2014

And look how far it has taken us. :) If nothing else, I hope the Force use the opportunity to recruit Rob Horne. He has been wasted so far this season. @ Pete King- Very much agree. @ Hawko- Exciting, huh? @ Cyclopath- We earned that in Round 2.

    Reds 2014

If you make a reasonable application for it, then why not. I guess it depends on what you intend to do with it. I reckon Ed O'Donoghue is a bit of a waste of a marquee spot. If they aren't regularly starting, go with a future Australian eligible development player instead. But by all means the...

    Reds 2014

It's understandable though. Force fans were as defensive of Richard Graham after the 2012 Sydney kick-a-thon as they are acidic toward him now. You back your coach, because like it or lump it he is your coach and maybe everyone else has it all wrong.

    Force v Tahs, round 9 2014

I still don't see anywhere that the Force have a clear advantage over the Tahs. The Tahs will be tired from their trip to RSA and there will be home crowd advantage, but I just can't see us winning it. We'll play heaps better than we did in Sydney, but I still think we'll go down by about 12...

    Reds v Force Rd 8 2014

Have we gone pear-shaped? I thought this was just bit of an enjoyable banter prior to a game. The banter is probably more enjoyable that the game will be. No need for anyone to get their feathered ruffled. It's like the haka. You don't have to like it, but you have to accept that it happens...

    Reds v Force Rd 8 2014

I think they found one of those invisibility cloaks like in Harry Potter and put the team's championship credentials under it. Richard Graham put his coaching talent on the ground next the cloak and nobody could see that either. I hope so. I put a fiver on a draw at about 26 to 1.

    Reds v Force Rd 8 2014

I think a good team can make their opposition look like a pack of fools. But I think the last three wins the Force have had has been more than that. The Rebels, Highlanders and Chiefs were woeful- more than just playing badly under pressure. If the Reds actually turn up to play, we are fucked.

    Brumbies v. Blues Rd 8 2014

Great job Brumbies. Nice to keep the ledger in favour of Australia in the Trans-Tasman Super clashes.

2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

Why not play Burton 10 and Horwitz at 12 then? Burton is good, he is just more Matt To'omua than Quade Cooper. I thought McIntyre was fully shit last year at the U20s. Reece (Rhys?) Hodge was a lot better.

2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

Luke Burton is a 10/12 from WA. He was in the U20s last year. He mostly played off the bench as a utility. Scored a few tries. Played for the Force 'A' in the recent Pacific Rugby Championship at 12 in two of the games. He's a good goal kicker. I don't get the impression that he sets the world...
