    Round 5 - Brumbies vs Waratahs - Friday 15 March @ 7:45pm in Canberra

I would guess he is now just waiting for an opportunity, the current units are doing well enough that he gets to wait

    Round 5 - Brumbies vs Waratahs - Friday 15 March @ 7:45pm in Canberra

Dan Parks had a good point on the Tahs bench, why not use them? If you aren't select another pig and do a 6/2 Short & Mason weren't used

It is early, Super Rugby is still to get hard and there will be injuries

I like the 3 15s option at test level, it negates opposing kicking options and Maddocks is a try poacher with good hands. Also having him and Folau potentially on the either end of kick passes will stretch compressed defenses and that opens up options elsewhere

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I now pretty well never watch a game "live" I find watching with a 45 minute lag means you can trundle through ads, the injury breaks & endless scrum resets and end up watching the last few minutes "live"

Using the premise the Genia is the key playmaker (sort of the french 9), driving the forwards, hitting the edges, playing around the corners until we get quick ball and Quade sees a mismatch, I would want as many hole runners/poachers as we can fit in so ....... 9. Genia, 10. Quade, 11...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I don't have an issue with the Genia\Cooper nexus starting for the Wobs I just think that if we really want to leverage their skillset, the the wobs need a change in game plan and player choice

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Quade works well in the set up the Rebels (and Link's Reds) are running with Genia running the show as the key playmaker with Cooper running as a "Bealelike" 2nd playmaker sniping opportunities - now will Cheika replicate that? or require the 9 to shovel it out and expect the 10 to run the...

    Round 4: Rebels v Brumbies - Fri 8th @7:45pm

And is utilised best when he is charge of driving the pigs off flat fast ball. Can the Wobs play that way? We can hope

If he keeps up his efforts of Saturday night (and this year IMHO) he will be. Added physicality with a strong workrate and a being dominant lineout boss is a compelling mix, especially when Samu, Pocock & Hooper will be in the selectors consideration

    Reds 2019

I doubt it, the key to that "experienced Flyhalf" at the moment is having a gun pack playing and running flat off a gun 9 so the "experienced Flyhalf" can wait for opportunities Most other sides are playing with the 10 as the key playmaker. They are touching the ball a lot more often and under...

Great job by Hanigan last night, he has always had the workrate, we now are seeing the individual efforts improving

Round 4 - Festival of Hate - Qld v NSW

The 5.30 Friday Super Rugby match from NZ is consistently the best provincial rugby played in the world If you aren't watching it, well, best of luck to you There hasn't been a decent Red/Tahs match for years, it will never be the showcase match of world rugby, the defence was very angry and the...

Round 4 - Festival of Hate - Qld v NSW

I think it could be as much having 3 playmakers vs 2 and balance With Paia'aua @ 12 you have the 2nd playmaker so Hegarty starts and Stewart finishes as the primary playmaker

Rona on the otherside may not get up as high, but he isn't a munchkin either
