    Proposed Nations Championship

Football has a decent model already set up to copy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018%E2%80%9319_UEFA_Nations_League

    R3 - Reds vs. Crusaders - Suncorp

And the saders bench is rather fun as well

    R3 - Reds vs. Crusaders - Suncorp

Pretty good bench for the Reds, always a good sign (and I think they will need it)

did just listen to the Gr&G podcast? Laurie Fisher said the same stuff re Tom Banks

I think his lineout skills got him there to try to balance out the Pooper's lack of lineout skills

I think he won't ever be that driving, ball running backrower who will regularly gets you over the gain line. He is a young lineout gun that gets through a lot of the base/dog work with a high workrate (like a young Fardy IMHO) in a world where getting over the gain line has become more important

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I think there is a quite a chance of taking another lock with Tui covering the backrow at need with the extra lock being possibly Arnold, Philip or Jones

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I think Hanigan, Hodge, Simmons and TPN may not make it I like the way our local Hookers are going With Dempsey and Naisarani available, Hanigan becomes surplus. It is possible the Hooper comes off the bench so a lock/6 would be the other bench option. I think we can do better unless we...

    Waratahs 2019

Filthy? Nah, but it was dumb and unnecessary, which to me is worse But add Penalty magnet, yep Not effective at lineout, yep Fitness issues, at times Well, we may have more "rounded" options for the wobs

    Waratahs 2019

Latu has French contract written all over him, hot head, penalty magnate with touches of brilliance at non key skills I am quite excited to see how Tuala goes, he looked pretty effective in the trials

    Waratahs 2019

Hollaway is a unit with the ability to get his team over the gain line, the challenge is that at 6 or 8 he ends up being a "David Lyons" type edge runner who drifts in and out of games. When they stuck him at lock, he does more all round work, plays tighter and puts in a decent shift. So at...

    Waratahs 2019

He is a good super rugby lock

    Waratahs 2019

Holloway is a better lock than he has ever been an 8, he is just a bit short for the role, I think he realised it himself last season

    Round 2 - Sunwolves vs Waratahs @ 3.15pm AEDST

Gibson seems to be aware and looking to upgrade where possible, signs a big bok lock etc (pretty sure if there was another local option they would have been first choice) But a starting back row of Hooper, Dempsey & Hanigan isn't crap. Simmons fixed the lineout, Hollaway provides a shift...

I still also think we need a second playmaker at test level, not bothered where they play (12,13 or 15) but another option makes it harder for defenses to nullify the playmaker

    Waratahs 2019

It is good to see a few viable options for Hanigan, he was always a placeholder until an upgrade could be found for the Wobs. He is a solid super rugby player and I agree, probably the best young lineout backrower in the country (which while Pocock\Hooper was the 7/8 you could squint and see...

    Round 2 - Sunwolves vs Waratahs @ 3.15pm AEDST

Teams selected after two rounds always make me laugh, each year it happens, each year they couldn't get it more wrong. Anyone with any knowledge of history understands that super rugby builds in intensity and gets hard in the last 3 or 4 rounds You have kiwi sides still working out...

    Round 2 - Sunwolves vs Waratahs @ 3.15pm AEDST

THe Tahs pack continue to pass just before contact, now I see that as a good tactic, but not f*cking every time, it becomes too easy to read

    Round 2 - Sunwolves vs Waratahs @ 3.15pm AEDST

Tahs were crap Lack of respect, no grunt, too many pushed passes
