Whilst I don't necessarily disagree re Hanigan, we have no evidence McCaffrey or Philip would be any better at test level either

All I want to see him do is bend his back and have a go, he will miss, that is OK, it is about attitude. It is the hand grab attempts that have me swearing

Maddocks looks like an actual footballer. he can run, catch, pass, kick and sniff out a try. We don't have too many of those

To me, it was down to mentality, they weren't up for it and got what they deserved.

I don't think Hunt is in the mix to start, bench at best I do think we need a second playmaker in the team "If" we play closer to the ruck with Genia as primary playmaker (al la the Rebels\old Reds game plan) then Cooper as secondary playmaker will be sufficient Genia Cooper Maddocks...

R7: Waratahs vs Sunwolves - Friday 29 March @ Newcastle

The reality of this season is that every side is rotating units in and out each week and despite not having Moody and Franks, Barrett, Read and Mo'unga, it wasn't a crap side on paper, but they looked emotionally not there. And the Tahs are in the same boat this week more players rotating in...

    Round 7: Reds v Rebels - Saturday 30 March @ Suncorp

The opposing scrums have enough video on him now to work out specific plans for him, I would guess throughout his career to date he has been able to rely on simply being bigger and stronger. He is now being made to work harder at scrum time and he accordingly has less gas for the around the...

Gibson on Mason, they seem to be planning for him to be the starting 10 next season, but he is being brought on slowly and I don't see that as an issue really. We see a lot of guys being thrown in too early and then dumped

Interesting to see the changes in play from Higgers under Thorn, less seagulling, more effort in tight

I think at best he could be one of the leaders you need for the dirt trackers, he would play a role and be a pro in preparation. But he isn't near a test starter on current form on attack, but when it comes to having units that talk/communicate and keep the structures in place...

I heard a description of the difference between Foley & Cooper. Cooper will give you 9/10s and sometimes 5/10s Foley will give you 8/10s to 6/10s

The Rebels pigs around the corner lets play flat crash ball is now a known- each side is building the highlight reel. It will be interesting to see whether they can continue to get that fast ball QC (Quade Cooper) needs as Super Rugby gets hard

You would think with Phipps inside him and Hunt & AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on the outside Mason is the sensible choice for 10 (after riding the pine so much), throw Beale to 15 and the two wingers (Newsome & Clark) from last week More concerned about the pigs, I think you could see Hanigan & Swinton at Lock with...
