    Australian Rugby / RA

Directors have very specific responsibilities under Australian corporate law. The management runs the corporation, the board provides oversight, ensures compliance with legal requirements, and protects the interests of the shareholders. If directors start interfering in the running of the...

    Six Nations 2020

If AWJ had clocked him, would that have been funny? I have no doubt that the intent was to provoke a reaction.

    Waratahs 2020

We are going to achieve absolutely nothing until we have at least one powerhouse middle rower. Ideally two. Time to go hunting in the Republic again; they seem to produce them in droves.

    Crusaders v Reds Super Rugby R6 2020 Friday 4:05PM (Q)

I would bet that the coach makes the decision, and it is communicated to the captain via the nearest water boy, or whatever they are called.

He's a 6. Think he came from Lindfield subbies, which is in Gordon's catchment.

Eastwood boy. Maybe he would need to switch to one of the favoured clubs.

    Wallabies 2020

He is in his first season of Soup. He might be ready for the squad, but I think it would be prudent to wait for a while before picking him in the XV. Which was my point. I picked three player for the starting backrow. Do you think he is ready, now, to start for the Wobbs? Who would he start in...

    Waratahs 2020

Wrong thread, mate. According to the commentators, he is in negotiations with Pau. So if we want him, we will have to up the ante. I do agree, he is pretty impressive. Our second row stocks look pretty good to me.

    Pic needs a caption

AWJ didn't know whether to thump him or kiss him.

    Waratahs 2020

As the economists say, in the long run we're all dead. But on a more optimistic note, I hope that Michael Icely is on the radar somewhere. He looked pretty handy last year for the Woodies, still a kid, maybe he has put on a bit of bulk in the off-season.

    Wallabies 2020

Wilson is not ready. At this stage, I would expect to see Samu, Naisarani, Hooper.

    Waratahs vs Chiefs - Super Rugby R 6 2020, Friday 6 March @ 7.15pm @ Wollongong

Yeah, and that is one of the problems that their hegemony has created. I would argue that the Tahs would be a lot stronger if Uni did not dominate a large segment of the player stocks. Playing SS is a good learning experience, but not if you are part of the overwhelmingly dominant so-called...

    Waratahs vs Chiefs - Super Rugby R 6 2020, Friday 6 March @ 7.15pm @ Wollongong

Fark. Who could be happy being part of that shambles of a team?

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Or he could just forget about it. Peanuts in the scheme of things.

    Wallabies 2020

I am beginning to think that Petaia should have a considerable period of rehabilitation.

    Wallabies 2020

It looks as though we will lack height in the back three.

    Western Force 2020

I wouldn't call us "mighty". Pretty good, maybe.
  19. wamberal

    Wallabies 2020

Yeah, but that means that 6 or 7 of the feral pests miss out. And that's just in the starting XV. What about the rest of the 23? Ehhh?

    Western Force 2020

Any viable competition simply has to be built upon the traditional foundations of the sport in this country. That is what the NRL and AFL did. Seems to have worked for them.
