Japan vs Wallabies, Nissan Stadium, Yokohama, Sat 4th Nov 4.40pm AEST

Some call him a playmaker, Some call him a distributor, Some call him the ice man, and Some call him a stormtrooper (one of my favourites)....but myself, well I just call him an average player but the best we got.

Who even are the options? We have none who play 10 consistently. Is Jono Lance available? Or is Cooper it?

    Wallabies EOYT 2017

I disagree, I don't think the All Blacks 'transitioned' away from the traditional flyhalf. Carter and Cruden seem to be their preferred style of flyhalf, Barrett is an anomily, in that he just played so damn good that they made it impossible not to pick him. Foley isn't chosen because he is a...

    Wallabies EOYT 2017

I hope it's KHunt straight to Fullback and we build some consistency with our backline players in those positions... with a few debutants/rookies on the bench to get some experience.

Can we please keep McMahon.. he IS the blockbuster 8 we have been looking for

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 21st October, Suncorp, Brisbane

Dempsy was great although some of his runs were effectively due to footwork and being a slipperly little fella.. would he be as slippery and effective on a dry track? I hope so but doubt it... Either way he's still done very well and I hope this means the Hanigan experiment is over.

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 21st October, Suncorp, Brisbane

Agreed, but unfortunately he is still clearly our best option. A big positive is we can still win with an average 10 playing an average game. He usually never plays worse then he did tonight so hopefully things will only get better. And hopefully they will use Hodge more for 22 clearances.... Or...

Absolutely, Last year I was very critical of McMahon for this, now he's finally stepping up against the big boys! Worst part is he's bloody leaving ...worst timing :(

Makes more sense to swap Beale and Hunt.

Surely Higgers would be more benefical then either Hanigan or Dempsey.

TK and Kerevi aren't competing anymore. After Kerevi's lack of defence was exposed by the All Blacks, its TK, Daylight, then Kerevi.

Wallabies v All Blacks Saturday 26th August at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin

If the ABs coaching staff was in charge of the Wallabies would they perform any better? Yes. For a start their selections wouldn't include 3 players who can't defend in the line in one team. Probably, but how much better? Anyone's guess. Probably not good enough to beat the All Blacks still but...

You know aussie rugby is in poor shape when we look back at the Dean's era with envy.

A massive loss. Coleman close to our best player most games. How Simmons got in over Carter is also a bit of a mystery - although they are quite similar players anyway and neither are close to Coleman's level. I wish Arnold could up his workrate.

Plus, given Cheika's way of playing Hooper at 7, Fardy complimented Hooper's style so well by providing another fetcher in the team. No other 6 or even backrower in the country compliments the current wallaby Captain so well. I just don't get it.

Lol. McMahon didn't offer any mongrel or impact last week. Hanigan is certainly one for the future but the fact he has been thrown into the deep end when you got players like Fardy/Higger available is ridiculous. Do any development players in Aus, get game time from the bench these days...
