    Australia v Italy, Suncorp Stadium, 24th June 2017 @ 3:00pm

The 'system' is primarily coaching. Lots of variables but primarily coaching.

If only we had some source of experts and coaches in kicking in this country. It's too bad Australia's national sport is volleyball ;)

Not necessarily. You would think players who have been in the wallabies system for some years now would improve. Skills would and should improve with the more time at the highest level. But we got the same old players, with the same old shortcomings, using the same old tactics, making the...

He should be there but coming off the bench, I would have thought that is the best way to introduce test rugby to young up and coming players. Fair enough a player like Robinson starts at prop cos we got injuries, but when you have a Test quality player like Fardy avaliable and in form why is...

Hanigan looks like one for the future, but i think a wayyyyyy off the pace for Test rugby at the moment. Bring Fardy & Timani back. That backrow was good last year. What's the story with Timani anyways, injuries ?

Yeh Beale will really help our defence at 12. I'd rather Hunt at this stage. Beale to 15, Folau to the wing. But won't happen.

Just moved out of Canberra and up to the sunshine. Where's all the good pubs to watch rugby at? So far i've only been to Pig 'n Whistle on eagle St which wasn't too bad. Living southside 5k's from the city.

Nah our errors and lack of support play lost it. We could have won that easily if our players knew how to pass a ball. or kick. or clean-out a ruck.

I swear Hooper is only one who's pro-active and plays without hesitation.... but then he gets isolated cos everyone else is too far behind him. So frustrating to watch.

So we can't even beat an understrength Scotland team. What happened to Aus rugby? I really don't think the Scot's showed much at all, I disagree and think they were pretty much the same Scotland we all expect to play, competitive without being anything special. (although maybe now can hold it...

    The Wallabies Thread

Nah but there's a correlation between scoring tries and winning. Can't scores if you don't have possession - guess what turnovers do? I think the problem is we rely on one player to do it, when it should be the whole team being opportunitic. Cheika said something that alarmed me "leave the...

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

We won. Always nice to see a win. First try was a beauty. Our attack is starting to look slick at times but then poor handling/passing behind the man/pushed passes let us down. Few notably poor performances for me: Genia - Didn't come back firing like he needed to TK - apart from the winning...

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

What do you mean by "value from a team perspective"? Do you mean Phipps is more of a "team player" then Genia because I don't see it. Genia contributes far more across a wider range of area's (passing, high-ball, play-making, kicking). Just because he makes individual line breaks doesn't...

Both has struggled at scrum time, Sio has lifted his game around the park though and was superb all-round last season. Slipper has been average last season and still is now. But yeah, scrum is an issue, Sio getting penalised almost every game.

Happy with the squad. Even Mumm I'm fine with. BUT SKELTON! Can't believe he is still persisting with him.
