    The lazy runner was real.

Poor call by Wright to run there but honest, how many microseconds did he hold it for?

    Superb D by Argie.

Nice work again Valetina and Petaia. No try but nice work.

Agree. It's not just the outside backs either (plus 9/10 if they are back). it's that the rest of the team losses cohesion in the position for D as ball sails overhead. We need a couple of phases for the D to structure and that can be too late.

I just put something on the Broadcast thread.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

A short note for Stan, in the off chance they read. All you have to do guys, at the Wallaby half time, is warn us that a AB/Bok spoiler is coming. Better don't talk about. That is for the second week running, 80 mins of broadcast I won't be watching.

Absolutely. They are making hay in unstructured play. Then they use an accurate high ball to create that opportunity. Add in some back to back penalty scenarios and that is the first half. Oh, add poor set piece handing possession over by Australia.

Yes but mores for the Pumas. D has been porous, line out is not where an international line out should be, scrum has had shenanigans, and we are not dealing with the high ball pressure. I'd have Hodge on at the back.

The last three: 1. poor throw lost lineout 2. forced to the front for confidence. 3. mess and lost ball

Hasn't been brilliant under high ball either (Quade was pretty solid) but is going well around the park and stepping in as White has been clobbered. He's taken heavy traffic too.

    Penalty count coming back.

It doesn't matter. There is too much advantage to Pumas through high ball. Need the old head of Hodge to get it organised. There is no-one holding the management together in the back.

    Gee, that was a try.

Wright needs to be hooked. Immediately.

Penalty count is starting to stack up.
  17. dru

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

High ball proving very problematic for the WBs
  18. dru

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

    What was the penalty for?
  19. dru

    Argentina v Australia II @ 5.10am 14/08

    Defence seems optional at times.

From score to back to back penalties and defending the line.
