Western Force v Blues 28th June @ The Force Field

I am hoping the old rule applies: Teams are most dangerous after they have been flogged the week before and teams are most in danger of complacency after a big win. We need 5 points against the Reds and there is no reason we shouldn't get a win at the very least. The Blues beat us physically...

Western Force v Blues 28th June @ The Force Field

We always get a good crowd for the Blues and Crusaders. A sell out wouldn't surprise me.

Rebels v Reds, 27 June @ AAMI Park

    Jerseys look shit.

2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

Heaps haven't. Josh Holmes and Winston Stanley were age grade stars. They struggle to get onto the bench in Super Rugby.

Western Force v Blues 28th June @ The Force Field

I like it. The only change I would consider would be to have Wykes at 6 in place of Stander. Coleman starting at 4 in place of Wykes and a bench of MMM and Stander. Is Faulkner still injured? He'd be better than van Wyk surely?

    Western Force 2015

Corey Thomas (lock or 6) and Kane Koteka (backrower) both played for the Force 'A' and Southern States U20s. Richard Hardwick played Force 'A' and was in the shadow squad for the U20s. With Cottrell out for the season and Hodgson and McCalman at the Wallabies- I'd expect to see those guys...

    Western Force 2015

Definitely very promising. There are a couple of guys who didn't make the U20s cut who are also very good. It will be great to see them play in the NRC.

2015 IRB Junior Rugby World Cup - Italy

I think three of the WA guys from the Southern States team will be eligible next year: Oscar Backhouse (ginger lock) Angus Taylor (scrum-half) Tim Koiatu (outside back) They might come into consideration.

    Aussie Player Exodus

I'd pay to watch the Wallabies play the overseas former Wallabies. Steenkamp isn't eligible. He played for the Emerging Springboks. He's 27 or so and he isn't that flash a lock. He runs a good line-out, but I would take Rob Simmons over him every day of the week (and I don't particularly like...

Which part? Them coming back? Them being Super Rugby quality? Or them being in their prime?

    Aussie Player Exodus

I reckon the move north is a good one for guys like Battye and Peterson. They seem a bit stagnant. Do two years over there and then take another crack at Super Rugby with a view to the 2019 World Cup. They'll be about 28 by then. In their prime.

Nah thats alright. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. The NRC won't stop the drain. What I hope it will do is help our young locks get from U20 or club level up to Super Rugby level and then possibly onto Wallaby level. Therefore increasing the flow at the top end to reduce the impact of the drain...

    Aussie Player Exodus

There has been a lock crisis for a while. But to be fair, the only significant losses are Kimlin and Douglas because those are the only two who are Wallabies quality. MMM is too frequently injured and Timani just doesn't deliver. This is why I reckon the NRC is so vital. It would be worth...

    Reds 2015

I just wanted to continue on the Yoda speak. I've only seen him in a handful of games, but I would have him at the Force in a heartbeat. The Force and the Reds have similar backrows (IMO)- high workrate at the expense of impact. I think he'd go well for either of us.

    Reds 2015

Fiesty one, you are. :) I remember him having a good ball running/hard tackling game. I remember him having pretty good workrate too.

    Reds 2015

Ita Vaea has been cleared to play again. Is he the kind of backrower the Reds should be looking closely at?

    Waratahs 2015

I don't think I did, but I will happily agree that it isn't the right thread to be discussing it, so I'll see myself out.

    Waratahs 2015

Yeah sure. No argument. But that was Kurtley Beale in 2010 and could easily be again. Missed the word win. We will lose games because our scrum is shit. We are less likely to lose games because we don't have Folau (if we had a good scrum). Only everyone is talking about the Wallabies...
