Reds v Highlanders Friday 30th May

I don't actually think the Highlanders are that great. The Reds completely have it in them to win this one and win it well. It's hard to know exactly how much is going on behind closed doors at the Reds but at some point everyone puts aside their differences so put the breaks on the roller coaster.

2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

Most awesome name for a winger ever?

    Crusaders v Force R16 (Friday 30 May)

One of the last times the Force looked this hopeful for finals coming into Christchurch was back in 2007. It was set to be a blockbuster- the competition's best defence vs the competition's best attack. Our d was torn to shreds to the tune of 53-0. I'm a bit worried this Friday will be the same.

    Yes please.

Reds v Highlanders Friday 30th May

Come on Reds. You've had 2 weeks to prepare for this and the Highlanders have a 6 day turn around and will be weary from this being their 6th game since their last bye. Beat them now and it puts a pretty big spanner in their works for a run to the finals. Come on! :)

    Western Force 2014

It wouldn't be such a big deal if it weren't for the 6 day turn around. Other teams have to go from SA to NZ through Perth.

    Brumbies v Bulls R15 2014

I'd say it was more to do with no Pocock and no George Smith. Maybe also missing a few other guys through departures, injuries, etc.

    Force Vs Lions Rnd 15

Weather would have played a small part. Opposition another. Nobody supports the Lions- it's a fast track to depression (although the same could be said of the Force at times). After their year in the wilderness and horrendous couple before that, I don't think they have many local fans in Perth...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

It'd have to be a joke. The only possible reason I could think of would be to try to extend his playing career after a lot of knee dramas.

    Force Vs Lions Rnd 15

Average first half but better finish to the half. I hope that energy stays up for the second 40.

If another 7 competition points get dished up from this game, I'm calling a fix.

    Rebel v Tahs, round 15 2014

We need to cheers the Stormers for every game for the rest of the season. They also play the Bulls in Capetown. The Stormers have the ability to halt the running of the Bulls and to deny the Sharks top stop on the ladder. Great stuff. I reckon they are just finding form too and they will get a...

    Rebel v Tahs, round 15 2014

I don't know. You are 5 points behind. They have three games to play and two are away against teams that will be desperate to restore some pride. You have 4 games. 2 home and 2 away. You should pick up three wins there and I reckon bonus points in at least 2 of them. If the Sharks drop a game...

    Rebel v Tahs, round 15 2014

Waratahs looking very promising for topping the competition ladder.

2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

The Irish tighthead would have barely made triple figures in weight. I thought we got rorted on a few scrum calls. Pretty sure that a couple of times he was driven off the ground and our loosehead got pinged for angling in. The Irish locks were very good value. Definitely our biggest issue was...

2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

Bang on. No spark out of 10/12. I liked the look of Alex Northam though. Jet boots. We might have done well with a half decent lock to partner Tom Staniforth too. The guy who lost us the game against Ireland for stamping was pretty average.

    Force Vs Lions Rnd 15

Looking at the remaining fixtures, 3 wins for most teams will be the key. Bonus points would certainly help and a home final would be ace, but the win is the most important thing.
