So, Higgers is in Japan? Was that already set in stone before he was not selected in the Bled squad and/or is that why he was not considered. Hopefully RHP comes in for the next squad but I would prefer to see Higgers start at 6 with Hooper at 7 and Timani at 8 with McMahon on the bench...

I reckon it is KBs time. He has come back a more complete player but has always been one of the most naturally gifted players ever in Australia. He now seems to have got the top two inches working well. Keep him at 12 partnered up with TK and let them build up a decent, potentially great...

Yes, it should be and to decrease our defense/missed tackles and concede fewer points than 20. You cannot win against most opposition these days scoring 12 points.

I would not break up the Beale-TK mid field. They defended well and will get better in that respect with more time together. Beale at 12 can release Folau, bring out the best in TK and also takes a lot of pressure off Foley as 1st receiver.

I hope this gives the team confidence and we have "turned the corner" or "bottomed out" and are now ready to build towards 2019. If so I will be the first to apologize to Cheika and his crew. Certainly the ticker shown was like a breath of fresh air.

The scrum was a major concern on the weekend despite it being very solid the previous week. Kepu and TPN seemed to shore it up somewhat. We could see both start against SA in Perth? It appeared to be on the TH side where we were getting done in the first half, surprising since Allaatoa has been...

Wow....only 5 lineouts! A lot of ball in play then and the fitness of both sides really tested.

Pretty impressive numbers for both Foley and Beale. Watching the replay I noticed both making some crucial tackles. That is our 10/12/13 axis moving forward with Hunt to back it up. There is no doubting their attacking ability and these numbers show they contribute well in defense as well.

I doubt that Quade is the answer but agree that Cheika dismisses these players too readily. If Foley is injured there is a big problem at 10. Would like to see a Beale-Hunt 10/12 combo as an option when Hunt is fit again and Quade in the wider squad as back up until then.

Were my eyes deceiving me or were our backs pretty much lining up by number in defense at the set piece? What a difference it makes when you reduce the D-dance to a minimum. Speight was once again poor in defense and you have to think Naivalu would be a better option on that wing. Rob Simmons...

If Hunt comes back into the squad soon I'd like to see a second half with Beale at 10 and Hunt at 12. This is a realistic back-up to Foley-Beale. Why was Foley kicking for touch again, at least until Hodge came on? DHP also has an excellent kick for touch.

I doubt it. After all of the criticism this should give them confidence and something to build on.....I hope.

When we are at full strength we have a Hunt-TK centre pairing. That will tighten it up a lot without having to to do the full D-dance. In the mean time I hope they have simplified it for this week.

That's a decent bench. Hope Coleman is back on deck soon.

No-one here supports the hate mail. Its just sad that it ever gets to something like that. A line has definitely been crossed by some idiots. Cheika and the ARU are far from being above criticism though. They are paid and paid well to do a job and the fans and general support is why they have...
