Think the issues were more to do with a lack of consequences for certain players. Guys still got a start despite training/standards not quite being up to scratch. You can bang on about team culture all you like, but if you are getting away with short cuts in any environment performance will be...

Chris F-S and Kerevi basically play the same game and as plenty have said too predictable as a centre pairing. Having said that , thought CFS was good last night and had quite a few tackle busts and good post contact metres . The whole backline structure changed with Duncan at 12, and yes the...

Thought the attack looked better with Duncan at 12, liked the lines he ran, seemed to make a little more space for those outside him. Too much sideways movement in the first half, seemed to improve in the second half, might have been a few other factors to take into account, but it looked...

Sitting on the hill watching the game straight down the field , the Reds attack is way too lateral, even some of Kerevi’s crash ball have had a bit of sideways in them. Chiefs’s defence doing it easy !

Sorovi playing himself out of a starting jersey?

Didn’t come back from WA after the Xmas break. Apparently wanted to stay at home with the family, which I totally get . Great kid , hopefully gets a crack at his rugby dreams through the WA systems.

Glad to see you worked it out, for a moment there thought you might have suffered from a complete lack of insight, my mistake sorry.

Reg, what’s the go with the multiple posts from an overseas source early the last few mornings that end up deleted a few hours later? Has GAGR been hacked by the Russians?

Is Kerevi leaving a definite? I know a lot of people think it's inevitable , but is it confirmed? Head in the clouds stuff I know, but maybe a successful and enjoyable year with the Reds and a new Wallabies head coach by year's end might make a contract extension possible?

GT’s likely backrow all saw some time playing First XV last year . Louis Jorgensen would be the front runner for 7 after playing a full season last year at 6/7. Charlie Condon and Emarly Bitongue will most like fill the 6/8 spots. EB was building well into 6/4 last year after moving from 12...

Not if the school wants to win First XV premierships as regularly as NC do , might get you a spot in the A’s in the younger age groups , but a school like NC normally get it pretty spot on come First XV.

Many on the 2018 thread rated Pasitoa as the best 10 in last year’s comp, he also got the nod as the starting 10 on the Aussie Schoolboys tour ahead of Gordon after warming the bench to him in the Brisbane tests. All this on the back of an undefeated GPS premiership to go with the one shared...

There was a younger lad who got a couple of starts at 10 for them last year and is back this year. Thought I remember something about him being Quade’s younger brother? Or I could have that story completely wrong .

The QSRFU State Champs at Sunnybank is the same format as previous years in that it involves boys from all over the state not at a GPS or AIC school. It has been previously used to select the Combined Secondary Schools team that then has played against the GPS & AIC teams at the Qld Schoolboys...

    AIC Rugby 2019

Agree with both above posts . MCA have a great coaching group heading up their program . GPS schools have the requirement in place that boys have to be at the school no later than the first day of year 11 to play First XV , with the start of year 10 being the preference for most, even...

Spot on with Jangela , his manager shopped him round to get a contract of some sort, think it may have been the same with how he found his way to NC after leaving SPLC. Some form of rugby was always going to be his career path , can’t blame him for signing with a NRL club if there wasn’t much...
