    Tahs v Canes @ SFS - Round 12

We're back on track. Probably can't afford another loss if we want top two, but the way we played tonight restored faith in what we are doing. Oh how I wish we had turned it around last weekend! We still have some very serious weaknesses to address: Georgina Robinson reported that Phipps played...

    Blues v Reds

You maybe right about the rule book, I won't argue the point. But in practice 99% of similar incidents the referee calls not held and the play continues. Its a bit like the rule book says the halfback must feed the ball straight. Nobody does and its virtually never penalised.

    Blues v Reds

Kurtley Beale was picked up by three Blues players and piledriven into the ground right in front of the referee. The commentators were beside themselves about how good a tackle it was. I think that if Slipper gets cited he could do worse than give the judiciary a video of the Beale tackle...

    Tahs v Canes @ SFS - Round 12

That's pretty smelly bait your using BR. Don't think you'll catch much.

Ntubeni starting, Fourie on the bench.

    Aussie Player Exodus

My deepest sympathies to all Irish fans, especially those that support the team he goes to. Everywhere he goes he gets promoted to somewhere else despite the fact that he's poisonous to the team he was with.

Warning! Fourie is on the bench this week. Means he'll get less than 40 unless there is an injury. Suggest you start Moore and have Fourie on the bench.

    Super what?

I absolutely agree. The finals series will have three South African teams guaranteed. In almost every year that will be the Sharks, the Bulls, and either the Stormers (mostly) or the Cheetahs. Either NZ or Australia will have only two teams in the final eight. But it is very likely that one...

    Super what?

Winning the SA conferences with massive accumulated points from beating the Lions, Kings and an Argie team will mean (I think) that they'll get the advantage of home finals. That will give the Sharks, Stormers and Bulls a massive advantage. Whichever of those teams is on their own in their...

    Rugby TV Shows

Based on his form this season I would be starting an "anyone but Schatz" campaign. This year he has looked like McCalman at his worst (ie a couple of years ago). I'd have Palu, Higginbotham, McCalman all miles in front of him and if any of them go down then Mowen's on call. Tala Grey's looked...

    Waratahs 2014

Probably because the ref knew the AR had made a bad decision and excused it on the grounds that Phipps was upset/over-wrought. Not saying I agree, but I'd guess that was his reasoning. Phipps can be a bit immature at times (you'll note he was calling for some tough love for the team this week...

    Crusaders v Brumbies Rnd12

Nadolo has scored a few tries against SA teams this year, but he still retains some of the weaknesses that saw him get cut from the Tahs: not good against the high ball, slow to turn and chase, not always physical at the ruck or the tackle. I think he might be targeted this week. Not sure that...

    Rebels v Sharks, R12 @ AAMI Park

    Stirzaker at 10??? Think that's a typo.

    Tahs v Canes @ SFS - Round 12

This is a pretty baffling team, though the squad is what it is: I didn't see what Cam Crawford did wrong last week - maybe I need to re-watch the game, but it hurts too much to do that. Carraro is a back-up 13 who can fill in on the wing. Crawford is an up-and-coming young winger who is likely...

    Waratahs 2014

My own experience was quite different and I'm not sure why. I had single seat platinum season membership for something like 5-7 years before I moved to Adelaide in 2006. My first year I was between the 22 and try line on the western side. Undercover but pretty unpleasant due to the gentleman...

You might be right. It might have been 2012 Alexander had his fantasy purple patch.

    Tahs v Canes @ SFS - Round 12

I am inclined to agree with you. I would definitely agree with you except the first thing McKibbin did when he came on last Friday was that diabolical box kick that went straight up and put all our forwards offside. That was the play that buried our hopes completely. It was an absolute coach...

But, that can't account for players going downhill. Two players that haven't been fantasy champions this year are Luatua and Alexander. Last year they were great.

Forget the home semi, we want a home final!
