Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

When something gets drilled into you for nearly 4 years it will definitely become instinct. Regardless we knew what to expect with White- more emphasis on kicking and less on sniping/ running.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

I think you might be completely right here. White suits the conservative game plan implemented by the Brumbies but I don't think this is the way the Wallabies should be playing. I prefer a halfback whose first instinct is to run/pass from a turnover rather than kick..

2013 RWC sevens (final before olympics) awarded to russia

I'm not quite sure we can with the mens team- no Pama Fou or Allan Fallavau, who are pretty much the most dangerous and explosive players. Apart from Shannon Walker I don't think the team has the speed or finishers required.

    Rebels 2014

I think you'll find they are actually good mates- maybe not that fair..

    Rebels 2014

My only qualm with Kingston as a player is that he rarely looks to use his outside men and can be selfish in his play but then again this distribution quality seems to be out of favour in recent years.

    Rebels 2013

Regarding Alex Rokabaro- his recruitment basically came down to the Head Recruiter's past affiliations and friendships with Sydney Uni players. Also explains players like Trent Dyer and Tom English getting development contracts

    Wallabies Watch

I don't see why Digby is a given to start. He has no kicking of passing game at all and his top end speed isn't great. I know he's a dynamic runner and can beat a tackle running near the ruck but I think we have better options available in JOC (James O'Connor), Falou, Tomane

    Western Force 2013

Flaws- if you're going to try and be smart at least get your shit right. WHere were the flaws in my argument? Look to be honest I'm not overly fazed. Pick the guy at OC and he ll do an adequate job- just don't expect too much ie linebreaks

    Western Force 2013

You do realise he played a forward in 7s. Also look at their captain Ed Jenkins- it's been a long time since he's ever beaten a man one on one

    Western Force 2013

So you want a 13 that runs straight and tackles well then? Why not chuck in Dellit or Stanley because that's exactly what they have as well. In my opinion a 13 should have the ability to beat a man one on one and be able to set up his outside player- 'x factor' if you will. I feel this is the...

    Western Force 2013

I'd like to know why you guys think Stubbs is the solution at 13/14. He's not the guy who's going to be making breaks he's not fast or explosive enough. He's a strong hole runner with a decent fend

    Elliot dumped in the bay

I'm not sure if I'm reading this wrong but all it says is that Hika has not been resigned for his NPC team it has nothing to do with his Chiefs contract? So why would he leave the Chiefs?

    Waratahs 2014

I actually think that Ulugia has done a pretty decent job playing hooker recently. For a 2nd or 3rd string player he is adequate and surely good value as well

Rebels vs Kings Super Rugby R9 - Saturday April 13

Surely you have a better option than Rory Sidey for 12- he surely is one of the worst backs in Super 14?

Chiefs vs Reds R9 Sat Apr 13th

Ant vs Kahui- Yeah because they're definitely comparable players...

    Pacific Rugby Cup 2013

How did Damon Anderson play? He's been around for a while now and has been a solid Shute Shield player. Is he worthy of S15 contract anywhere?

    Pacific Rugby Cup 2013

So the Sydney Academy forward pack is basically the same but the backline has been completely rehauled- is this a reflection of the previous performance or more just rotation? Also Tom Hill plays for Gordon doesn't he?

    Pacific Rugby Cup 2013

Does anyone know the Sydney Academy team playing today?

    Bulls V Force RD 3

I'm not denying their defence was excellent apart from the 2 breaks down Cummins wing (One luckily was a forward pass) which was abysmal. Their attack however was extrememly average and their was little cohesion between the players. Can you honestly see the force coming anywhere but last in the...

    Waratahs 2013

This is a bit of a left -field suggestion but bear with me- I htink the Waratahs should try and recruit Rene Ranger for next season. He would actually provide some penetration in the centres and is a good defender. I know we hardly need any outside backs but surely we could shed a couple of the...
