    RWC 2019 SF1: New Zealand v England

Tuilagi was amazing in defence though, which isn't something he is known for. Plus some good vision with his intercept. I don't think he had a one-dimensional game today.

    100% Go Boks!!!!!

    RWC 2019 SF1: New Zealand v England

What a game! England clearly the better team around all areas of the game. Itoje, Underhill, Curry, Tuilagi, Youngs all amazing performances - Itoje MOTM. NZ just outclassed. Feels slightly better getting knocked out by England now.

    That was a beautiful try.

Wow what a start by England.

    Michael Cheika

I'm with Lorenzo. A few players coming out in support of Cheika saying he was "the best coach they ever had" just goes to show how much support and care he gave them - not so much his results as a coach- which is clear looking at this poor win ratio and lack of skills development in players...

    Wallabies 2020

There is so much hope for us in 2020. That's a damn good looking starting XV - Deegan being the big unknown but the others you'd bet can step up a level if they haven't already proven so. It would be nice to have some fresh in-form wingers to choose from too, to give Petaia more time at 13.

    Wallabies 2020

I like Petaia at 13 as the long-term option, but if our wing stocks are still bare next year (likely), then I can see him playing wing with Kuridrani at 13. He is such a young bloke there is no point rushing him, plus getting a few more test rugby starts on the wing will probably be good for his...

Competent and did a few good things... kind of sounds likes Bank's Boks game... Anyways moving on. Agree to disagree there.

As a winger yes. But at fullback DHP and Beale just edged him.

This was a great podcast too. I encourage everyone to have a listen!

    Wallabies 2020

Banks is a terrible wing in my opinion. His biggest attributes are his boot, safe hands in the high ball, running the ball back at pace, injecting himself in the line (love running a good angle for an inside ball). His finishing ability, footwork/beating a man 1 v 1 are some-what lacking IMO...

    Wallabies 2020

Your kidding yourself if you think every new Test player is going to have a debut like Petaia. In comparison Banks debut was probably better then half the current wallabies debuts. It's not exactly like he was a Jessie Mogg and way out of his depth. Banks was far from shit.

What exactly is your definition of 'ready'? You could easily argue Banks is more 'ready' then Beale - given all the mistakes Beale makes. If Banks performs better then the current option - he is ready.

Looking bang average for your first Test (against SA I might add) ain't a bad thing. To'omua was exactly the same on his first Tests and now he's a quality player.

    RWC 2019 SF1: New Zealand v England

Or maybe a sign NZ are going to attack the set-piece. NZ's line-out looks a lot stronger now.

    Wallabies 2020

So true. It's about finding the right balance of players, game-plan, and combinations.

    Wallabies 2020

I get what you saying. But to some extent they have proven they are test level players. More so DHP with a load of experience but Banks also had a solid game without being outstanding game against the Boks. Sure they haven't grabbed the jersey with both hands but I do feel they are already...

Half the fun is speculating. And I'd prefer a coach who picks the best players and then builds a strategy based on that - otherwise your talking about another Cheika with a stubborn "vision".

    Wallabies 2020

I think that's a soft excuse to disregard dropping the 60 cap rule. Not that I am arguing to drop it, but if the reason is because you don't want to track oversea's players then that's just lazy. They should be some-what doing that now anyway. The french coach is assessing 14 teams in the top...
