TYS International Test Team of the Year Nominations - Inside Backs

I organised the poll last year and will do it again (unless Gagger, Scarf or Moses have other plans). Criteria is must have played a minimum of 3 tests in the position nominated (e.g. You can't nominate George Gregan at halfback as he hasn't played test rugby this year). Keep it to inside backs...

How good or bad was the EOYT?

What has Rocky done as captain that can be seen as a positive? The guy is a Wallaby version of NZ's Mr. Invisible reuben Thorne. Progress against NH teams? we lost to Scotland for the first time in nearly 30 years so where is the progress in that? The only positives I found in the tour was...

    2nd 5/8th style inside centre

I've been thinking the same way myself (I will see the psychologist tomorrow) in regards to this, though who do we have who can play the same as a Nonu or DeVilliers? The only names that come to mind are Tyrone Smith, Tom Carter and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). The 3 of them have the crash ball down pat but don't seem...

    Brumbies 2010

Waste of a contract IMHO. they don't need a has-been, coke sniffing, racist, thug on their books. Young Timani or Kimlin may miss out on game time because of this signing.

    Wallabies v Wales

Sorry about that Scarfy.... back on topic then The game starts at 4am tommorow morning any predictions? Mine is the Wallabies to play well in patches, dominate in the forwards and look to have a chance at winning only to find a new way to lose the match (most likely through the backs) ...

    New Jersey for Wallabies

I don't think the ARU is in a strong enough bargaining position at the moment to be making the kind of demands from sponsors that some of you are seeking (let's face it they need all the sponsors they can get) and will only be able to achieve this aim if they win regular and in a way that...

    Wallabies v Wales

The fullback gets the ball more often than the 12 and if Beale is there he will have an opportunity to launch counter attacks. If the 'tahs play the way they did most of last season they won't need a 2nd 5 they would be better off with Tom Carter's crash ball.

What is wrong with our attack?

I disagree with Eddie's assertion that "you can't beat players on the outside playing traditional rugby" (to paraphrase) as traditionally there was plenty of running off the ball and defence confused but these days it is all about the individual.

Stadium seating prices? (and Nick name calling)

Re: Stadium seating prizes? No offense on my part I was just wondering if it had the same connotations as it does in Oz. I was pretty sure it didn't. So why do they call Afrikaners rockspiders by the way? I think guppies are what we call Kwazulu Natal and their supporters as in a type of...

    Wobbs v Cardiff

Does anyone else think it strange that Deans replaced To'omua with Cooper when he went off after 2 minutes? Is this a portent that Cooper may in fact be on the bench on Saturday? I would have thought the intelligent substitution would have been to bring on Morahan and move Beale into 10....
