Lolesio was very impressive. Daugunu, on the other hand, really needs to be told to fix his tackling technique right now. Maybe he needs a brain transplant.

Looks like a Fox product to me??? Could not find SS scores???

42-24. Incidentally, it's worth downloading Fusesports - brilliant app. Has the scores for every game, progessively.

Thug. Once a thug, always a thug. Ask Travis Hall.

Super Rugby Au Final - Brumbies v Reds

I have a feeling that their shellacking by the Tahs might just have given them the motivation and the mental strength to go all the way. One thing that Thorn is surely good at, is inculcating a winning philosophy. Play for each other. Leave nothing out there. No excuses.

    Wallabies 2020

Under our new selection criteria we will get a couple of them back. A few of them look ready now. We don't need, or expect, that they will all make the grade to Test match rugby. Some won't. But the next year or two younger are doing pretty well, too, aren't they?

No experiments, please. Always remember Garrick Morgan.

    Wallabies 2020

I would bet on a starting backrow of 6. Valetini 7. Hooper 8. Samu.

If the captain is not Hooper, it will be challenging to choose a replacement who is likely to hold his place in the XV for the foreseeable future.

    Wallabies 2020

Dunno. I suppose it depends on the player , the position he plays, and how good he is. If we were evaluating Jonah Lomu, for example, I don't that we would look at anything except his incredible try scoring ability! I imagine that a metric like the one I quoted would be much more important...

Getting up and back into it quickly is one of Eddie Jones' key metrics, apparently.

Don't think he is nippy enough, if that makes sense. 10s have to be quick off the mark, very elusive when they run.

He'll be there, sooner rather than later, I reckon.

Couldn't agree more. We should leave it to the experts, IMHO. The Coach and the selectors see more, hear more, and know more about the playing contingent than any of us. We are entitled to our opinions. They and the players they select will be judged on their performance. Naisarani's...

Super Rugby AU - Semi Final - Reds v Reb

Huge photo and article on the back page of the Sunday Mail, though (usually the domain of the Broncos!!). I would not be too disheartened about the Terriblegraph's coverage: if the Tahs had been in the game, and particularly had they won, the game would have been given a bigger splash. Winners...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Would love to see a Fiji/Samoa/Tonga team put together. But. Having spent some time in Tonga I am a bit sceptical that long-standing rivalries (both between nations, and internally) can be put to one side, permanently. All the participants will be serving two or more masters; that is just the...

Super Rugby AU - Semi Final - Reds v Reb

Kudos to both teams, and the officials. Mrs Wamberal and I really enjoyed the game. Started to worry a bit when the Reds lost two of their backline so early in the game. When Billy Meakes butchered what should have been a certain try, for me that was the turning point. I thought Isi was...
