    Shute Shield 2011

Can some one estimate how much the top non-contracted club players earn, and how does this compare to what NSW cup players are getting?

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

Is the subs bench: Hanson, Holmes, AWH, Shatz, Harris, Morahan, Chambers; or are they going the 5:2 with samo in for chambers? Dont like the look of that team, I would have left Gill on the bench to run a muck in the last 25 minutes. In regards to tapuai, I wish him all the best and hope he can...

    Wallaby Outside Centre

I think Ioane brings more to the backline at 14 than Barnes does at 12, and JOC (James O'Connor) should be moved off the wing to accommodation him. Now gateau's gone the biggest problem with the back line is quades defence. The rest of it is pretty much perfect.

    6 Nations 2011

Im also worried about what will happen if the irish turn up to play like they did against france and england. They sometimes have an intensity about their game which can be hard to match.

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

I didn't think taps showed enough to warrant being in the 22 as an outside centre when you have guys like chambers and morahan knocking on the door. I'll leave the selections to the experts, as its always hard to change the team round after such a big win. Reds really need to turn it on and run...

    Super Rugby Trophy???

They might just machine it off and smack on a new logo.

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

McCabe for Davies, Hodgeson for Waugh. Can't see Mumm and Baxter making it either. And I'd be starting JOC (James O'Connor) at 12 and Ioane on the wing, with Burgess, Barnes and Horne on the bench. Burgess maybe starting over genia depending on form.

    Tahs MOM v Crusaders

    - 1 getting frustrated and pushing an opposition player like a dickhead

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

The commentators said it was because Mowen had pulled his shoulders and weight away from the scrum, and therefore according to the rules he was deemed to have detached himself. Bit pedantic, but without a halfback to there to pick up the ball you run the risk of it happening.

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

I guess that's where the suggested nz bias comes in. But then again, maybe it wasn't so much leniency but rather the tahs hesitation to push the rules in the way the crusaders did. We see this all the time with nz teams, god knows the all blacks love to do it.

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

If you compare last weeks game to this one, they were refereed very differently. Last week players were not asked to roll away as quickly and as such the tahs were able to effectively slow down the reds ball. This week the ref made sure both sides were getting quick ball (as the rule should be...

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

I understand where you're coming from, in my eyes when the reds lose the ref is always shit.

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

Apart from the forward pass, and a few other little things, I thought that was one of the better refing performances i've seen this season.

    Waratahs vs Crusaders - 2011R03

Its good to see the ref making players roll away and not slow the ball down. The breakdown being refereed as it should be.

    Growing QLD Schoolboy Rugby

Basketball needs to be moved to term 2 or played on a friday arvo. Rugby and Basketball are to big to compete.

I'm not sure but you might be referring to a different issue, which was the vote to allow schools like Marist College Ashgrove (or lauries and downlands) to play against GPS schools in rugby for points. That decision had nothing to do with rugby, but rather a desire for the catholic schools to...

    Growing QLD Schoolboy Rugby

The clubs already do to an extent in Brisbane, but the season is short, player numbers are low, and the standard vary's from team to team. Most junior clubs cant field a team once kids go to high school anyway, it is only the large senior affiliated clubs like brothers, sunnybank, gps, etc, who...

Another reason to adopt the term 2 plan. Schoolboy sport isn't professional, its wrong to tie a 17 year old bloke down to one sport.
