    Worst Commentator Pole Action

I do like what I've heard from Maloney so far. Also Rabs may not be as great as he once was, but he still does play-by-play commentary better than anyone in Australian rugby.

    Worst Commentator Pole Action

So what would be the optimal commentary team for Aus... Clark/Sharpe/Kafer ?

    Worst Commentator Pole Action

As an Australian, and Queenslander, Marto makes me feel embarrassed. Like I should be apologising to foreign rugby fans for everything he says. Otherwise I think the Aus commentary team is not to bad. Kearns is good for a laugh now and then and Kafe is excellent and is perhaps the least biased...

    Sharks v Reds Rnd 5 2014

this is all very interesting and actually reminds me of some observations i made last night about the way the ref was dealing with the two teams. The Ref was shitting all over Horwill for most of the game, constantly reprimanding him, yet on at least two occasions he was happy to let JDP give...

    Sharks v Reds Rnd 5 2014

was too tired to post after the game last night but my views basically echo the general sentiment above. really frustrating loss because we actually looked like we could have taken that game had things come together for us, but we were our own worst enemy at times. I thought we looked the better...

    Reds 2014

Re JOC (James O'Connor), it would worry me having him in our squad. Wallaby fans should know all too well the damage that bad team culture can cause. We need a champion team not a team of champions. I'd rather see him go to WA and repay to faithful over there.

    Waratahs vs Reds - R3 2014

its called home ground advantage. it is a tangible factor in all rugby games. i was simply saying that there is not much between the two teams

    Waratahs vs Reds - R3 2014

I think the Tahs will win this one, but the Reds will square it up later in the season.

    Waratahs vs Reds - R3 2014

I think benching Skelton is probably the right move. I expect the Reds will try to keep ball in hand against the tahs, and thought they might target him in defence. He's an exciting prospect but looked short of match fitness last week. He needs to get his fitness up if he's going to be effective...

Brumbies vs Reds - Saturday 22 February 2014.

Seems to be some disagreement as to whether Slipper is a LHP or THP. I wish the Reds and Wobs would just pick one and leave him there. surely consistently playing at THP or LHP would be beneficial in the long run, rather than constantly moving back and forth.

    Super Rugby Predictions 2014

I gave up trying to predict the log a few years ago. just too many variable. I put money on the Sharks to win the comp before the season opener last week. The prediction is based on various factors. Super Rugby traditionally comes down to whoever tops the log wins (due to significant...

    Reds 2014

I remember Davies coming in and playing a cracking game last year against the chiefs. I've never been the biggest fan (for the reasons opined by others above) but he's not a bad back-up when the inevitable injuries hit. His speed is a point of difference that can be useful if used correctly...

    Reds 2014

I like the fact that our squad is so settled. From my point of view we didn't need to bring in new talent because we have plenty of good hungry young players already in the ranks. The only position I could see us possibly wanting to sign would be another second rower, but only cause I worry...

    Trial: Reds v Rebels - Friday 14 February 2014

I see Beau Robinson is in the curtain raiser. Is he coming back from injury or just out of favour (or neither?) ? similar question for Albert Anae

Trial: Waratahs v Highlanders, Hunter Stadium, Newcastle, 14 Feb, Fri, 7:30 PM (EST)

I reckon Tahs will win this in a canter.

    Trial - Reds V Chiefs @ Toowoomba Sat 8th Feb 7:40pm (AEST)

Seems Graham is looking at Taps at outside centre. With Fainga'a also in the mix, I doubt Kerevi's injury will affect early-season plans too much. But hopefully he wont be sidelined for long.

    Trial - Reds V Chiefs @ Toowoomba Sat 8th Feb 7:40pm (AEST)

If this game was being played earlier in the day I'd be tempted to make the trip up. Wish this was being played on the Coast.

Trial - Rebels vs Waratahs - Saturday 1 February 5pm

Nice to see some of the returning players score tries (higgers/hoiles)

    Reds 2014

Not sure who I prefer between Hansen and Fainga'a. Fainga'a seems to be stronger at the breakdown and probably more effective in general in defense. Im interested to see who performs better this year.
