    Waratahs 2020

I'm not quite as impressed by Clark as you seem to be - I've yet to see him break a tackle at Super Rugby. He runs hard and is quick but doesn't have much evasiveness

    Waratahs 2020

I think that's a reasonable take on the squad. I'm not sure how we are going to score points- I can't see a decent workrate being enough to wear down the opposition

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Which of those players actually deserve selection in the 23 though? Samu - would be a bench option at best replacing LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)- probably not a huge difference Powell - would not make 23 Kuridrani - Has had ample opportunities at 13 and has not performed for around 2 years. I don't think you can play...

I think Harrison and Lucas might be favoured because they actually play 10.

Surely Andy Muirhead should be starting on the wing as well BR?

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

In what sense? How has the gold medal been the catalyst for improving women's rugby in Australia? A cynic would say that it provides visibility for players to the other codes who are willing to fund domestic competitions properly.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I don’t think we want two Koribetes either to be honest- he has plenty of limitations himself. I think Maddocks could probably provide another strong option on the wing if he was to improve his defence.

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

Does 'form' mean that he's performed incredibly average for the Wallabies for the last 2-3 years? Good defender but I can't remember him breaking a tackle ever.

TRC Round 2: Australia vs Argentina @ Brisbane - Saturday 27 July 2019

I'd be tempted to try JOC (James O'Connor) at 13 outside Kerevi. I think that Kuridrani gets a bit of a free pass from some, and while his defense is quite strong I don't think he's broken a tackle in 3 years. The only issue is that I'm not sure an All Blacks game is the time to do it.

    Aussie Player Exodus

You just said it above yourself- he's a fly- half without the ability to be truly world class. That statement that he doesn't have a conventional position is ridiculous.

TRC Round 1: South Africa v Australia, Sunday 21 July 1:05am AEST

There's a lot of hyperbole in this forum- we weren't nearly as bad as some people here are saying. We weren't great and nor were we terrible- you couldn't say that SA were the better team but they did make better use of their opportunities. With a bit of luck (a better bounce of the ball) we...

TRC Round 1: South Africa v Australia, Sunday 21 July 1:05am AEST

And yet his peers keep voting him as one of the best (if not best) player in their team.. He is very effective at what he does- he leads the defensive line and makes about 50 tackles a game, protects our attacking ball and is quite a decent ball runner. Undoubtedly he could go harder on the ball...

    Brumbies 2019

This is largely rubbish - ask most rugby fans around the world who the best outside centre is and TK won't be the response. He is a strong reliable player but still largely limited in what he does.

    Waratahs 2020

Who's recruiting for the 'tahs- what does McGahan provide that someone like Taylor Adams couldn't? He looked very average for the Reds.

Lisfranc injuries are grim- hopefully he hasn't torn the ligament itself and only fractured some of the metatarsals.

    Waratahs 2020

The cupboard is definitely bare when we have Clark, Newsome and Maddocks as the back three. While there's still an issue with the forward pack, I just can't see how we will be capable of scoring any points with that backline?

    Brumbies 2020

That's a shame- he could have been handy for the Waratahs and at a good price- he's a better player than Mason.
