    Brumbies 2020

We have been waiting for Simone to kick- on since 2013.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The only sustainable long-term solution is a trans- Tasman competition with complete free trade of players between teams. Now that might mean that initially the Australian teams may be filled 60-70% Kiwis, but at this stage being competitive and winning is more important than development in...

    Waratahs 2020

He's basically a younger Rob Simmons- it's arguable if he even has as much potential.

    Waratahs 2020

That Harry Hockings is a real bruiser.

    Waratahs 2020

Are we able to speculate on a 23 for the first match yet? I think our two wings from last year and potentially Ned Hanigan might be at risk of losing their starting spots?

    Brumbies 2020

I actually think a pairing of Kata and Wright in the centres could be very dangerous eventually- not a bad problem for the Brumbies to have!

    Brumbies 2020

I think Kata should really be looked at as a long-term solution in the 12 jersey, as he has X- factor that the other options don't have. Obviously he needs to do a lot of work on his skills before becoming a permanent starter but there were reasons why he was quite heavily touted in NZ as a...

    Rebels 2020

You have more than enough depth to replace a winger (remember he was behind DHP). An additional 50-100k to developing players plus an open position will make them likely to stick around though.

    Rebels 2020

Mate freeing up cap space is not just about signing new players, it also gives you the ability to upgrade the contracts of existing players so that they are less likely to leave in the future..

    Rebels 2020

You don't get nothing though- you are able to free up money on the salary cap and release a player who might not be completely committed to the cause- it's not a no-win situation. Rugby league teams have been releasing players early from contracts for a decade, you assess things on a...

    Rebels 2020

I'm curious by what metrics make Lucas the better fullback prospect?

    Waratahs 2020

    What's Joey Walton like?

    Wallabies 2020

If we're looking at stop-gap solutions why not just bring back Quade/ Foley, who are superior to Hegarty?
  14. eastman

    Wallabies 2020

How many caps does Quade have? Is he Giteau- clause eligible?

    Wallabies 2020

I think we need to be in an emergency situation- before Hegarty gets considered as a starting flyhalf proposition- let's hope it doesn't get to that stage.

    Reds 2020

I think he should be looked at as a potential 13 option and not just a wing. He was a 13 growing up in NZ and a highly- rated one at that. It becomes an issue though with all the other potential options you guys have in 12/13.

    Waratahs 2020

Let's not go over the top here. At his best he is not very very good but quite good and doesn't nearly show it enough. While he has quite strong core skills, he doesn't take the ball to the line and challenge the defense at all

    Reds 2020

Or outside backs to be honest- he could be handy at 13 with more upside than Foketi

    Reds 2020

The Waratahs could have used him more to be honest- we are not at all stacked for wings.
