    Tahs v Lions MOM

Yeah, I know barnes doesn't deserve the point, but I figure he's no where near the running anyway

    Tahs v Lions MOM

3: Alcock (I told you, right? Didn't I tell you?) 2: Beale 1: barnes (just to be different. Kicked much better)

    Rugby - not set pieces

I know halfbacks think they are gods, bit what is with them adopting the Rio Jesus pose now at every ruck? Are they questioning the refs authority, or adjusting their shoulder pads?

We need tinnies where you peel off the whole top, making it a cup. No danger of throwing it, quick to serve, won't get watered down

    Why do you ask Bruce?

I try to time it with shots at goal, and scrums (backing the fact a certain ref is good for at least 3 resets, and potentially a front rower needing attention)

that said Mo, the service at the Force game was great, and the longest I had to wait was 3-5 minuts just after half time. Upside of diminishing crowds?

Jake/Lauren, did anyone raise marketing at the forum? IMO that is the tahs biggest issue. There seems to be no focus on what I consider the 2 key ways to improve attendance and participation - being 1: Making a Tah game a "night out" experience, and 2: making cult heors of the players...

yeah, midway through last night (OK, 2 wines in) I did a 180 on this whole concept. OK, yes the tahs are not playing attractive rugby, but at least they are winning. Ironically, I think if they were playing like this and losing there would be less compaint as everyone would think "oh well, the...

    Michael Foley

I agree he is the most likely candidate, and 70% of me is happy with that outcome, but there is something bugging me about the performance of the tah forwards this year that leaves the other 30% a bit nervy. Without being in the camp though it's ahrd to tell if that is his fault or someone elses

    Waratahs v Lions - 2011R14

am expecting a belter from Alcock. He has (unfairly in my opinion) been in cutch's shadow this season, but his 5-10 minute glimpses have shown an aggression and passion which has been missing from the pack.

while I'd love to see a national or even eastern seaboard provincial comp I do feel for the smaller clubs and the subbies clubs that it will decimate. With extended Superugby, the provincial comp would take most of the talent out of current clubs, leaving clubs to take the players (talent or...

What will win the RWC for the Wallabies

that's not true, Rugby Reg showed earlier in the seasson there are others who can perform at that level in defense :)

forgot about SBW! oh well, at least I only have 1 player out this week, not 3 like last week

Jake White's "Back in Time" Coaches: Masterstroke or Mistake?

from what I've heard from a reds player at the time, it was a pretty toxic atmosphere while Eddie was at the reds - maybe that was just one players perspective as he left soon after (and went on to bigger an better things)

    Nemani Nadolo

I hope Nemani works on his rugby hard and pulls a Beau - get a job, work hard take a punt on a team and get a contract. There will always be a call in Aussie rugby for a man of that size and speed, he needs to improve his wider skills and he still has potential to make it.

Not sure I agree Ruggo - the fans who are booing dont really give a shit about the off field boardroom inneptitude of the NSWRU - not sice the McKenzie sacking anyway. The fans are booing because they are not getting the spectacle they believe they payed for. The real issue is that with the way...

The question I'd like answered is this: Are the back three kicking down the midfield because there is no support running back, or is no one running back because they know the back three are going to kick? Or worse still, is it a fitness issue?
