IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

Presuming halangahu won't be fit, we have to play Beale at 10 (surely?)

    Sitaleki Timani

So what is the general consensus? He's been picked in a Tongan squad, and based on form you'd assume he'd make the team if he wanted to. In a world cup year the draw of playing in the comp must be huge. I was very critical of him early in the season (and pre season) but he has really turned...

Tahs vs Brumbies. Give us a hand mate? 2011R18

I did remark during the game that he didn't seem to police players lying on the wrong side of the Rick very well, but it didn't seem to slow the play too much, and was against both sides so some would argue it was better not to constantly pull it up. The game was disrupted enough I suppose

The Elsom Saga - Clubs withdrawing offers is all the rage...

I reckon this is crazy. Are we really suggesting Alcock, Dennis or mowen are better players than elsom?

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

Can I attempt to sum up the thread by saying that while we would not be suprised to see Tom Carter selected in a greater touring squad for the wallabies, and we would generally think his hard work makes him deserving of that spot (although his hair needs attention), we would be suprised for him...

The Elsom Saga - Clubs withdrawing offers is all the rage...

are you saying the teamhas no interest in signing elsom, or you as a fan have no interest in the team signing elsom? If it's the former, then they are crazy. As a fan you are entitled to any opinion you like Bluesman.

    Why is Tom Carter unpickable?

dont complain - if we could solve all of australia's rugby problems in 2 lines there would be no need for GAGR. Then we would probably all have to get back to work

    Waratahs v. Brumbies 2011R18

agree with most of what is said above, except that it wont be wet - it's tipped to be dry from Friday, so by saturday night should be fine conditions on the field. edit: great watching weather - get out there if you are in the wider sydney basin!!!

    Playing at Homebush - why?

just dont forget that Sydney is a big city, and the SFS is wedged in an oncovenient corner of it. There are many people who will not bother going the SFS but will go to homebush. Also, my wife picked up in the past week the tahs are advertising for marketing team members. It's her dream job...
