    Waratahs 2020

There will be injuries and then there are a lot of units who have very little experience who will be expected to turn up constantly I expect some good highs and some depressing lows as a lot of the team learns what the expectations of playing pro rugby is really all about (being mental...

I doubt it, everyone will be getting minutes, for some it will be the only minutes they get all season

Holloway was more effective at lock than he has ever been as an 8 at Super Rugby level. He does more stuff at lock. I would expect the starting backrow will be Hanigan, Hooper & Dempsey Simmons will be one lock and the rest will be battle for the open lock spot and the bench

Pilfering can't be anyone 7s strong suit any more, the rules have changed it from a core strength to just a quiver in their bow. Samu seems to fit the modern criteria for a 7

It is a make do while the younglings prove they are better, most of the Aus sides don't actually have a quality Super Rugby standard 10s with Foley, Cooper and Lealiifano all leaving there is a massive hole to be filled in aus rugby What is left with any experience @10 is Beale, To'omua and Hegarty...

when a player wants to change - he is disloyal when a team wants to cut a player/make space in their salary cap/move in another direction - it is business When teams start being more moral, I will change my mind and consider a player should reciprocate

As usual whether Beale (or another) does well at 10 will be down to the pigs providing quality first phase ball and consistent, quick front foot ruck ball If they do, he will be fine; if they don't, it will be his fault and we will be whinging about the length of clearance kicks again...

I am not talking about the odd game, but the "Coopers", the "Hunts" and the "Slippers" in the last few years It happens in Rugby, the NRL & Football There is no loyalty from professional sports (or any other business) unless it suits them, none. If they want someone off their books, the...

They don't do it for any other reason but to put pressure on the player to agree to leave

and yet we see in professional players released, told they are surplus to requirements and/or sent to club land by their contracted teams all the time but when a player wants a change he should honour his contract? it is an employment contract, not a slave contract

Yeah, I see Morea at 12 & Hunt at 13 with Foteki super subbing That way Beale can be protected in defense and he has two units with the ability crash ball when needed to get across the ad line (something they need)
