    Wallabies 2020

Ahh the Kurtley Beale approach .......................... In test rugby against real sides? there isn't the space, there is a discipline defensive line, so DHP Against lessor sides the same skill means a 50m run for DHP

Possibly, it makes their meh moments more noticable

White McDermott is the obvious first choice, Powell does enough good, he does a lot of solid things without ever being spectacular (he is the "Hanigan" of available 9s) If White isn't picked, it is a real struggle to find a third that deserves a shot

    Wallabies 2020

My concern with him is that he is too indecisive (and sometimes too slow to the breakdown)

DHP is the only 15 we have now that constantly gets through the first tackle on kick return, it is a real strength that allows the backrow & supporting backs time to get in position to keep the ball.

    I wouldn't be selecting Gordon

    Wallabies 2020

Dunno, there are players who would rather play more then train more

    Wallabies 2020

Yeah, someone who is an upgrade on what Simmons does would be wonderful, but no one so far is there, all the effective, more dynamic locks have left the country

    A couple of good locks

    Wallabies 2020

Noted, but so far none of them have demonstrated any form as an actual winger this season. We have two solid 15s, an average winger and a wounded 13/utility

I think Speight should be on the wing with Koroibete, they are the two form units I also believe we still need a backrower who is a viable lineout option (Naisarani) and another who is a real lineout option (LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) or another) I see Samu as Hooper's understudy, unless you start budgeting to...

Yeah, Beale on kick return against a formed defensive line is like your 5yro little brother running at you He gets picked up and splattered

    Wallabies 2020

I don't think you need either Simone or Beale on the bench if you have DHP & Banks and To'omua & JOC (James O'Connor) in the starting side More likely is to blood a young 10 and a threatening, young outside back

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

Listening to the House of Rugby Podcast and Haskell had on Sean O'Brien (worth a listen) SOB said he hasn't played a game without some pain for 8-10 years, the last two years, constant pain and regular private tears

    Waratahs 2020

It is the RWc cost, we had a load of test players and the best attacking threat in the country - pretty well all gone They have been replaced with kids, some will step up - many will be found out - some will get better and learn - some won't Add to that we have essentially a new coaching staff

Super Rugby Rnd 3: Rebels vs Waratahs

So I had a really good night last night (great bands at a great venue) should I spoil my Saturday and watch the replay? Or just ignore the thing?

If there is a front row to blood a young prop, it is the Rebels
