    Crusaders v Reds Prelim 1

I'd say Crusader supporters would be saying exactly the opposite (but with more spelling errors)o_O

Super Rugby 2013, the run home

So after next weekend, it starts to get complicated: A) If the Brumbies win, then they have to play the second place-getter, the Bulls, in South Africa B) If the Cheetahs win, they have to play the Chiefs ( and the Brumbies go bye-bye) In the other game, C) If the Crusaders win and the Brumbies...

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

It is interesting that with regard to Jake White as Wallaby coach, that although the Brumbies said they were OK for him to be released from his contract, they were not prepared to have White take with him Laurie Fisher &/or Stephen Larkham. Although Jake has a fine coaching record, one wonders...

Super Rugby 2013, the run home

\ In that the Chiefs got a beating from the Crusaders, I think the same logic you are suggesting will also apply to the Chiefs.

    Waratahs V Reds July 13 2013

If the reds can get up a solid lead, I can see Will Ginea being given a break. He really did run out of gas in the third test against the Lions.

    Reds 2013

I also watched the Cheetahs getting done by the Stormers yesterday (Foxtel recording). The Stormers were good, but the Cheetahs were woeful - like going back to yester-year. So the Reds need the Crusaders go down to the Chiefs next Friday (c'mon the Chiefs). Even if the Crusaders get a single...

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 2

Well it certainly isn't the most healthy life style you can experience. I would have thought playing a 'life or death' rugby test just four days away would have their attention totally focused. It's not the hamburger thing that's the worry - it's these two players not demonstrating their total...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

I believe Horwell will be playing. If you look at the Fox Sport video of the incident, you will see that Horwill was completely unsighted, and could not have known there was a head on the ground there. He had to put his foot down to maintain his balance - he wasn't raking.

    Grats Quade

I still can't work out if Qwerty51 is Richie McCaw's dad or a Nomme de Plume for Robbie Deans. As for Quade's efforts as a captain on Saturday - he's a highly experienced player and as such did a reasonable job as the skipper. He got on with the game and concentrated on the backs. I assume a...

Ruggo, have you ever been to a game on an empty stomach?

    Reds 2013

Is James 'Big Kev' Horwell playing the role as skipper the right way? He certainly leads the team by personal example, of that there can be no doubt. But does he have the required 'smarts' as a captain. I'm thinking in some recent games where he persists with going for the try, when a tasty 3...
