I understand the desire to ask Rebels players about the off field drama, but hopefully they put it to the side for the rest of the season. Their going to have a hard time escaping it day to day, let them focus on the rugby when they're on the field.

Rebels have rarely started the year well, but this year more than any other they really can't afford to take their time finding their game.

I don't think it's unrealistic to have been excited about it given Daugunu's form there in a brief stint for the reds last year, it was close to the best he's ever played. Nothing wrong with then facing the reality of a new convert to the position struggling in a new and disjoint backline.
