After the way the Brumbies melted in the heat at Suncorp last year , I hope it is as hot as predicted. It’s been a brutal preseason temperature wise for the Reds ,might position them well for the final 20 minutes come Friday .

Think the form guide for this year should possibly place less importance on last year’s 16a’s results and more on who is returning. We should be now seeing more 18 year olds in senior , so maybe have a look at how the 2nd XV’s stacked up from last year as well as numbers of lads from each...

Big number of recent school leavers in the trials yesterday. Billy Pollard and Lachie Albert finished school last year as did Reesjan Pasitoa and Glen Vaihu . Zeph Tuiona same age but finished school in 2018 along with Dennis Waight and Luke Reimer.
