Maybe organise a protest to protest not being able to watch GPS rugby at your GPS playing field of choice.

Was surprised by the report that Rodda getting less than he was here. Smith makes a point of him being the highest paid player at the Reds and now taking less to play OS . Makes you think he thought he would just move franchises within Aus , which RA vetoed, and the Lyon deal an afterthought...

The NZ games last weekend showed proper policing of the breakdown rules certainly opened things up. Lots of penalties blown , but didn’t effect the flow of the game with teams mostly playing on quickly rather than opting for team meetings before deciding what to do next .

I’m not totally sure about this , but I think part of the reason for the delayed start is the need for 4 weeks of “contact” training before playing competition matches. Full contact training initially was not meant to start until the 1st of July, making August 1st the earliest for games to...

That's when our Commander in Chief " might" open the border. Of course she will um and uh a fair bit , say something incoherent that is a mixture of three thoughts at once but doesn't really mean anything and then claim all as a stunning victory for her brilliant leadership through these...

Will be interesting to see if releasing the ball continues to be reffed the way it was yesterday . I liked that it rewarded the jackal , but that was the most penalties I’ve seen blown in a while at the breakdown. Great game , looking forward to this afternoon. Think they are trialing a...

To cover the kicks , you need at least a sweeper in the 22. If you don’t put enough back to cover the kick you could get shown up by a good attacking kick , if you put defenders back , there are less in the line and more opportunities through the hands . I actually don’t mind it . Same...

Rugby Xplorer has our PM saying Super Rugby AU might be able to have crowds , with larger stadiums ( 40000+) being allowed possibly 10000 attendees , or one quarter capacity. Could be business as usual for the Reds .....

Nongor definitely training with the senior squad , few called up to training outside the four already mentioned in the press, including Sam Wallis from UQ. The coach even involved in a few drills . Don’t think it will mean they will all get a run , more bodies to train with / against maybe ...

Not sure it is a full 9 rounds , the first two weeks become trials , what was round 3 becomes the first fixture .

^Yep agree , could end more the "Lote Tuqiri" end of the spectrum of league converts. He played rugby in Fiji and NZ before the switch to league.

On a positive note , had two lads back home from rugby training tonight , one from club and one from school . All feels somewhat normal again and that feels good indeed .

Club training back this week. Hopefully no "spike" in COVID numbers in the next few weeks and comp goes ahead as planned.

Wasn’t sure where to post this thread wise , but since there’s talk of league ..... Today’s Sunday Mail has a story about Joseph Sua'ali'i about to sign a $2M / 4 year deal with South Sydney , he is still 16 and can’t play first grade until he turns 18 years of age . He played right wing for the...

Bobby , Toddy has been the Colts 1 coach at UQ for the past few seasons . Highly rated by all that have had much to do with him. Has South African heritage and is very much a forward based coach with big emphasis on accuracy across the park , particularly in defence and the breakdown. As Reg...

Totally understandable, but a bit of a pity the four guys recently called up to the senior squad won't be playing much footy this year. Still a great opportunity for them, but would have been great to see their development this year in 1st grade.

^Any news on the redevelopment of Ballymore? There would be very little point to playing there if crowds were allowed in it's current state.
