Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

Dempsey is the perfect benchwarmer, behind only Pocock. If Pocock is on the bench one assumes the At the 6 and 8 are big lineout jumping options.

They still need to find the right balance in the backrow. I think starting with a traditional 6 and 8 and finishing with the Pooper is the go.

More time for the boys coming back to get fit

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

I’d say so. Naisarani brings exactly what was needed to compliment the pooper. With Pocock we also all of a sudden have massive breakdown presence and increased defensive capability. He gets through at least as much work as any tight 5 player. If he remains fit Cheika will probably mix it up a...

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

I’m sure he is still in the picture for Cheika. Lineout calling may not be his thing but he brings much more than Simmons, of whom I am a fan BTW.

As is Arnold. He’s a better lock than LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) and can have much more impact than Simmons. He’s with the squad.

Coleman was the outstanding Wallaby forward two seasons ago. I’m not ready to give up on him yet. I’m guessing that we will see him next week.

He is pretty good in the scrum and improving. AAA will be a step up again. It looks as though our set piece is in very good shape.

When he is on Coleman is very good. He should be in the squad if fit.

Petaia is ready for test rugby without question. What we need to do is bring him back carefully from this injury so that he is 100% fit and challenging for a starting spot during the RWC pool stage. I’d say a bench spot in one bled and against Samoa should do it. Last week we had Jones and JOC (James O'Connor)...

TRC Round 2: Australia vs Argentina @ Brisbane - Saturday 27 July 2019

Discipline is an issue and soft penalties accounted for all of the Pumas points.

Pretty much on par with Kepu playing the ball when off his feet 30 m out in front of our posts. Not good.

We rarely contested the ball at the breakdown so our line was set early. Not sure that this will work all of the time?

TRC Round 2: Australia vs Argentina @ Brisbane - Saturday 27 July 2019

It was a tough game to gauge as both sides had a lot of trouble holding onto the pill. JOC (James O'Connor) made a couple of big tackles in midfield that the bloke being tackled felt. He may have lost a bit of pace but is stronger in contact. I’d love to see him get a bit more time at 13. Why was he not subbed...

It will not matter either way unless we rock up at the coal face. We need a much improved scrum and presence at the breakdown from our pack.

If Hooper goes down we are in trouble. Of course that’s highly improbable but you never know.
