    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

It’s been tough for him outside Kerevi. He does a lot of clean up work and when possible puts others away. His defence is pretty solid and I’d love to see someone putting him into gaps. In the UK he was always finding space at speed.

For Petaia it’s just the beginning. In the tradition of our great 13s he will start on the wing and move to 13 when ready.

There we go. As you know I was always a Uelese fan. I like FF (Folau Fainga'a) as well but he has done nothing special at test level. Obviously the selectors are also a fan for whatever reason. I actually expected Latu to be the third option but he has really repaid the faith so far. I’m guessing that it is the...

Matter of opinion. Latu and Uelese are stronger at scrumtime and Latu offers more around the pitch. Obviously the selectors see something. No doubt FF (Folau Fainga'a) will get plenty of time next game to stake a claim.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

At the end of the day Wales were nothing special and it was a game we could and should have won. It was a massive game for us and the selectors thinking that playing Foley would be a good idea backfired spectacularly. We just went into the game under prepared and not ready to play. Wales had...

They looked good against Wales. Might topple Fiji? A very solid pack as always and now with a handy young 5/8

Whoever finishes top will have a better draw. Still much on the line.

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

We just need to stay with them till early in the second stanza and we should come home stronger. We still have MKs raw pace. Going the pooper again is a bit of a worry but we will see. Last game LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) replaced Naisarani so it did not improve our lineout much. Genia and Foley have an excellent...

I’m on the other side of the globe guessing that is very soon.

Yes, we could go 6/2 but it would be risky.

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

Slim, we are going around in circles. I know he is a Brumby and his Super Rugby form has been stellar. It just has not yet translated into the same at test level. It may well in short order.

RWC Pool D: Wallabies v Fiji, Sat 21st September, 2.45pm AEST, Sapporo Dome

Yes. He doesn’t quite have the size to dominate at scrum time a la TPN or Uelese. All three will be given ample opportunity through this campaign.

Absolutely. But his his potential upside is there. I think we have seen that physically he belongs.

I am an unabashed Uelese fan. As you know I have been beating his drum for a while. He offers the size and strength of a young TPN. Latu has been a surprise packet when given the most recent opportunity and if his discipline remains in check is a top line test rake. FF (Folau Fainga'a) is on the improve but both...
