    Waratahs vs Reds - Round 1 - 2012R01

I think you guys are being a little tough on Harris, he threw a couple of lovely passes in the first half which led to breaks along with a couple of nice steps, also creating breaks & I liked the way he took the ball to the line. I have no sympathy for the Tah's either, I haven't forgotten...

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

Can't have those headbands on to tight! Then again, too loose & it might slip over his eyes!

    Waratahs vs Reds - Round 1 - 2012R01

Higgers & Van right to go! No longer thin on the ground as per forum speculation. http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/rugby-gold/reds-enforcer-scott-higginbotham-fit-and-ready-to-tackle-waratahs/story-fn8t7efs-1226275151082

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

For those with short attention spans & those who have a disregard to the history of the game pre professionalism. There have been 17 games between the two teams since 1996 with the Reds winning 9 to NSW 7 with one draw...... That lead will be extended by 2 this year!

Reds vs Waratahs - the war before the war

When was the last time the Tah's beat Qld twice in one year? Not counting trials I'd say you'd have to look back a number of years as they've only met twice in one season in Super Rugby once. And seeing as Qld had the wood over NSW for a loooong period of time before the current NSW streak...

Yep, this is awesome & way overdue!

    Reds v Force - Trial 16/2

Is Winston Stanley in the same boat as Toby Lynn then? I thought the rules were one marquee player & one development from abroad?

    Sharpie's Retirement

I was pretty dirty on Sharpie at the time he left the Reds, but that didn't last very long, you just have to like the bloke & I'm sad to hear he's retiring. Thought he'd signed on for a couple more years? He certainly should have had a few more Wallaby caps next to his name in recent times.

    Reds v Brumbies Trial Match - Cairns - 11 Feb 2012

Nick Frisby is the youngest of a long line of Frisby's I'm led to believe, he apparently knows no fear & is a GPS boy. This is the first I've heard of Kevin Davis, anyone in the know?

    Men behaving badly

Fair enough Fatprop, all good points there. I find it interesting though that he's getting most of the attention in this thread because of something relatively minor, while Ripia isn't getting hardly any attention & he's a thieving scumbag stealing off his workmates, over a sustained period, to...

    Men behaving badly

I'd like to know which bird was asking for what exactly? He got kicked out for having a few too many to drink. I'm pretty sure this would have happened to most here at some stage of their lives. It's a misdemeanor, if it becomes a regular occurrence there is a problem, in isolation it's nothing...

    Men behaving badly

Does he choose to have the big media profile or do the media choose it for him?

    Western Force 2012

This isn't just about O'Connor, he was the example being used. I am talking about your claim that no player would play in a position that they don't want to play. I find this statement to be absurdly preposterous and will just leave it at that. Couldn't be bothered going around in circles. Good...

    Western Force 2012

Well hows this ...pal...... JOC (James O'Connor) has been playing wing for the Wallabies for a few years now, we have had more than a couple of tens & 12's in this time... now in your reckoning he only wants to play in these positions & wouldn't have to play somewhere he didn't want to..... then why the hell has...

    Western Force 2012

What, because of one incident? Which he paid the ultimate price of being dropped from the test side? Yep, that backs up your argument no end.....

    Wallabies 2012

I thought I read somewhere that the Brisbane Bledisloe isn't a part of the Rugby Championship and is just there to keep the Bledisloe as a three game series.... I could be way off mark though. Also no Hong Kong or Tokyo game at the end of year this year?

    Western Force 2012

That is just bullshit mate! If there was a player who thought himself above the team he should be shown the door! For instance, since we are talking about O'Connor, do you really reckon that he was ecstatic about being told he'd be on the wing? Seeing as his ambition is at 12 or 10 I'd say no...

    Western Force 2012

I've thought about it and I think players play where the staff think is best for the team, not what the individual wants. Sure there might be discussion on the issue but the coaching staff make the call, not the player.

    Wallabies 2012

Ballymore is also a shit fight to get to & from and smaller capacity and maybe, just maybe they are trying to spread the rugby gospel just a little bit wider? I'm up for the train trip to this test match, should be awesome! Hopefully some Argie supporters will make the trek, they're all good value!
