If Higgers was our only forward who deserves a mention from last start why would you want to move him into the backs? We need more piggies doing the hard yards to let the backs have some time & space, take out one of the best & that time & space diminishes & Higgers is wasted.

Won a World Cup & was a fantastic lock/blindside. Maybe not a great, not many players can take on that mantle, he was however a great player.

I guess Lance on the bench might have helped, in hindsight he would have been a better option than Morahan the way injuries panned out. But coaches don't have a crystal ball & the 5-2 split has worked just fine for us in the past, no one can predict two 10's going down in the same match.

Agree Sully, Morahan has been shocking in defense & hasn't been good under the high ball either. Genia had a great game until he was forced into ten, anyone else wonder why Taps didn't shift there? Would have been a far better option imo.

Agree Dan that the Force are pretty weak but the Rebels have a very good side on paper & just need time to gel, their defense was very impressive last night. I think they'll surprise a few teams this year. The Kiwi conference is possibly the only one where every local game could go either way...
