    Reds v Stormers - Super Rugby Round 9, 2012

I reckon it's in the water.... it's all that fluoride I tells ya!!!!!!

Richard Graham to quit the Force and join the Reds

Wayne Bennett might not be the best analogy, he announced mid season he was leaving the Broncos to and they didn't go too badly that year if I remember correctly. As others have said, they are all professionals doing a job. He should see out the season.

Did you see the two halves of Reds Rugby when Lucas was at ten? Inspired!!!! Killed off a spirited Rebels first half & had the Sharks at their mercy until the hamstring went. I'd suggest his return will make a huge difference to the backline functioning.

And Sharpe, retires at the end of the Super Rugby season & I thought wasn't making himself available for Wallaby selection?

The Overseas Marquee - Have Australian S15 Franchises Utilised it well?

Indeed! Braid did wonders for the rugby culture in his time at teh Reds & was seen to be sorely missed when his time was up. Fortunately Robinson & Gill have stepped up to the plate since.

Is Greg Holmes rated by anybody here? The Reds scrum always looks a lot better when he's on the pitch & he does the tight work well. He can also pull off the odd wtf play ala Alexander. He's also getting to the age where props mature into canny bastards full of trickery & deciet.

    Wouldn't miss it for anything!

    Reds v Stormers - Super Rugby Round 9, 2012

The best we have looked in attack this year was during the meagre minutes that Lucas has been on the field at ten, he just has to start there. Lane can have a place on the bench. He played admirably in his debut but he has done his job ( I wish he was there before Murphy) and now the more...

Richard Graham to quit the Force and join the Reds

I'll back the boardroom boys at the Reds to know what they're doing here, they've done a fantastic job in turning the organisation around thus far & obviously a lot of thought has gone into this decision. Link is still on board next year & will no doubt be guiding Graham through the ropes. A lot...

I'd like to see big Van retained in the side, he's been one of the better Reds tight forwards in the games he's played, got some right mongrel in him & gets over the advantage line & could be a good counter for Bekker in the lineout.

What2040..... When Genia was made captain after Horwill's injury in 2010 it bought his game to a new level that had him tagged best in the world in some quarters..... it could be just what he needs?!

    The Reds run in April

I didn't see the game, I was out of town with no tv or radio reception. However I have seen a highlights package & from what I could see from the two tries scored by the Reds that Davies was a significant contributor, does this not count for anything with those designing his demise?

    Reds v Brumbies - Super Rugby Round 7 2012

I might be in the minority on this but I can't stand the bloke, then again I can't stand the radio announcers on commercial radio either & I think he must have gone to the same school. I much prefer the old days when the crowd just got involved on their own accord when the play warranted it.

    Reds v Brumbies - Super Rugby Round 7 2012

In a professional sporting environment, when you get your chance you'll either sink or swim. Cooper at the start had some horrendous games, however it was obvious there was something special there waiting to break out and was worth persisting with, that and he really was young, just 18. Murphy...

    Argentina

Because they probably don't expect a big crowd, at least until The Puma's show they can be competitive. So you wouldn't like to see this game rotated around & seen in places like Canberra & Gosford? As an aside, what games are scheduled for Melbourne this year?

    Reds v Brumbies - Super Rugby Round 7 2012

Punting on Lane is better than persisting with Murphy imo.... at least Lane has a pedigree & big wraps from S.A. I think it's a calculated risk and he could possibly have started last week if he had have had some time previously with the squad. Murphy was as big a flop as his hairdo & I hope to...

Why should the ARU give a flying fuck about the expat South American population? It's an Australian home fixture.....The Gold Coast is a pretty major city, close for a lot of supporters from northern NSW, close enough to Brisbane, which, because you're so concerned, has a pretty good population...

I like Walsh as a ref, now I see he has Brumbie fans worried about his appointment I like him even more :-)
