Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

I’d like to put the couple of missed line outs down to nerves and communication issues with BPA. Should hopefully be able to iron those out for the next Test. You’re mad if you’re want to drop Rodda for Simmons for lineout purposes.

Australia v Ireland, Sat 9th June @ 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

So much chat around how we are gonna defend Ireland’s imposing midfield, their brilliant kicking game, their unsurpassed lineout... All valid points of course. But. Fuck me. I reckon we’ve selected a pretty bloody good team of our own. Talent galore in the backs and the best young pack I’ve...

    Wallabies squad for Ireland series

Yeah. I hate to be ‘That Reds Guy’ but Higgers was massive tonight and I think an inclusion in the squad, given how skinny we are in that position, is warranted. I know I know, his papers are stamped, but it’s a shame.

    Scotland v Australia - Sunday 26 November 1:30am AEDT

Assuming Tui is fit, can we afford to drop Simmons, start Phillip with Enever, and have Tui off the bench?

England v Australia, Sunday 19 November 2:00am AEDT

Unfortunately I agree. I reckon our pack are gonna get badly outmuscled.

    The new Wallaby jersey

Super keen to buy the indigenous jersey but it seems like they're all out? Hopefully they'll make a shitload more - they'll sell like hotcakes.

Australia v Argentina 7 Oct 2017 in Mendoza

I watched the game today after first reading this match thread. I mainly tried keeping an eye on our locks and while Coleman was his usual tough self I really thought Rodda stepped up too. Busy and hard as nails.

What is the biggest mistake made with Australian Rugby?

Yeah that's a fair point. Plus the goal kicking as someone else mentioned.

What is the biggest mistake made with Australian Rugby?

Still irks me that Rogers pinched a stack of fullback caps and starts away from my all time fav players Chris Latham.

    The Wallabies Thread

Anyway, I've side tracked this thread by talking about someone who isn't a project player. Carry on.

    Cheika is.

    The Wallabies Thread

Nope. I know that's not happening. But I bet you penny to a pound that an average Higgenbotham would be offering us more right now than Hanigan.

    The Wallabies Thread

Exactly. I'm not saying he's the messiah by any stretch. I just want someone there, for the here and now not for two years down the track, who's going to do a job. I think he offers us more upside at the present. It really shouldn't be that difficult to comprehend.

    The Wallabies Thread

Garbage. Who offers the most to the team right now? I'll take an experienced, abrasive, but hot and cold 6 in Higgers over a player who has potential but is another season or two away from being ready. I don't think it's too much to ask for someone who's not going to get folded in contact at...

    The Wallabies Thread

Plus I reckon he showed much more in the mid year Tests than Hanigan has.

    The Wallabies Thread

All I'm saying is that at this point he'd offer much more than Hanigan and Dempsey. But hey. Let's keep flogging that poor young blonde kid senseless before he's ready.
