    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

I have lots and lots of thoughts about this game. Kerevi and his insane penalty. Our slow start which let Wales set the tempo. Our utter dominance from about the 25 minute mark on. Our lack of composure in the final 10 minutes where we moved away from our dominant running game. But one...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

Uruguay defeated Fiji. Japan defeated Ireland. It’s a World Cup of underdog victories. Can the plucky Australians punch out an unlikely win over the might of the recent #1 ranked Wales?

Are you being argumentative just for the sake of it?

I think it’s a good team still. Backline very solid without being spectacular, but our bench is red hot.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Agreed. The worst part is how they end up crowding and bumping the opposition players. Geez I’d be cranky if I just got scored against and this happened.

Same as what Barrett got. Unbelievable.

If you could change the laws of rugby, what would you change?

Every reserve who runs onto the pitch to congratulate a teammate for scoring a try has to serve a ban of no less than six months. Joking of course but it is a pet peeve of mine that’s getting more and more common!

RWC Pool B: All Blacks vs Springbokke, Sat 21st September, 18h45 , International Stadium Yokohama

My most hated sound: Aaron Smith screeching in delight at an opposition knock on or mistake. My most treasured sound: Aaron Smith screeching in fury at some perceived slight against the All Blacks.

Wright is a very good, promising young player but FFS Hooper is excellent and absolutely, unequivocally deserves his spot.

Wallabies v Samoa, Sat 7th September, 7.30pm, Bankwest (Parra) Stadium

Dempsey really impressed me. My MoM. Moving forward, I’d like to see: 6 Dempsey 7 Hooper 8 Isi 19 LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) 20 Pocock

As folks have already said, I reckon this will be a bit of a mini shootout between Dempsey and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto). If Jack puts in a good shift I reckon he’ll get first dibs come World Cup time.

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Amazing. Somehow even when you lose you find a way to win. Enjoy the well deserved win from last night. We’ll enjoy ours from last week too thanks.

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Middle Earth is rising against the decades long tyranny of the Darkness. The Ents (Rodda, Arnold, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto), and Coleman) have finally risen from their slumber and are marching towards the capital. Some of the lumbering Orcs (Tupou) have turned against their old dark masters and have the taste of...

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

We are well and truly through the looking glass now. Looks like we were fortunate to not have at least 5 players carded!

Would have happened anyway. “Focus was the World Cup, testing our combos” etc etc.

Classic NZ rules. Latu pinged for not going through the gate. Savea given free reign.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I don’t think the second lock spot is contentious at all. I think it’s pretty clear it’s Rodda. Does a heap of the tough stuff, is a rock shifter in the ruck, getting a few gallops in too. He’s a shoe-in.
