    The Wallaby 12 Conundrum

Foley has played both fullback and 1st 5 for the Wallabies hasn't he?

    Argentina v Australia, Mendoza 4/10/14

Not really this season. We've seen more go forward from Conrad, Crotty, Fekitoa than from Nonu. He hasn't been the 'bail out option', he's predominantly played distributor and kicker. Fekitoa, a very different player to Nonu has provided more direct ball running. Crotty has provided more bosh...

    The Wallaby 12 Conundrum

His celebration of AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s try was pretty exuberant. First one there picking AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) up after the head high from Hougaard.

Still on EuroSport. Comes with the Sports package on Foxtel. They have been showing him a bit lately.

    The Wallaby 12 Conundrum

12 is one of those positions where it is the 'balancer' of the backline. I look at the ABs and I would say Aaron Mauger was our last "natural" 12. I'm not talking about a 2nd 5 vs inside centre issue either, but I just think he had the right combination of skills to balance the 10 and 13. But...

    The Wallaby 12 Conundrum

The way OZ have been selecting their 12s in the last 6-7 years I don't think you have a 40 plus test guy let alone someone that has consistently been given an opportunity to get to that point. A. Finger Taps Horne McCabe Lilo To'omua I'm sure I've missed a couple...

    Is that you Robbie?

    The Wallaby 12 Conundrum

Cheers Pfitzy, that's not good news. Hopefully he recovers quickly. For a stop gap I'd bring in Horne who was probably unlucky not to be starting on the weekend. But long term I think To'omua will be critical for OZ.

    The Wallaby 12 Conundrum

Jeez fellas give To'omua a bit of time I reckon. There are a few things he needs to improve on but I think of all the options he has the best foundation and has the smarts to improve his game. I think he and Kurindrani are a combo to build on for the future. They need to continue playing 12/13...

Especially Meg and Wilson. Very disappointing picture that of the laser and Barrett.

Couldn't be further from the truth. One of the top 3 on the park tonight. Our scrum was very good and he smashed plenty of Argies in the tackle.

IS the ball didn't go out in dead in goal area, trickled over the touch line.

Rising v Vikings, 25 September @ AaMI Park

I didn't think the ref was bad at all. The crowd were getting stuck into him, but the discipline and just lack of skill on display in that 2nd half was appalling in my view. The knock ons, the in from the sides, the off the feet, the screwed scrums, the list goes on. I thought he tried to let...

Based on?? He's gone fine against both the Boks and the Argies this season in the scrum and in general play. His throwing on the other hand has been poor.

Argentina v New Zealand, Sat 27th Sept 2014

Plays for Bay of Plenty in the ITM Cup. Played for the NZ u20s a couple of years back. Made his Super rugby debut this year for the Chiefs. His strengths from my armchair at least is that he's a mobile rake in the mould of Coles. It's a massive rise no doubt about it, and a huge risk IMO...

Rising v Vikings, 25 September @ AaMI Park

Agree. On Mogg, he looked to have all kinds of time out there, but he just made poor decisions with the ball. To be honest he just didn't look interested and there wasn't the urgency when he had ball in hand. Very sad to see someone fall from grace as he has.

Rising v Vikings, 25 September @ AaMI Park

The Rising team are bigger than most and play the game at real pace. Look great in the loose and their set piece is decent (for 60 minutes).

Too easy. Burgo over after a poor pass from the Rising no8

This is an ugly 2nd half. Only saving grace is that the UCV replaced their starting halfback. From live viewing he was absolutely shocking. Passes spraying all over the show. The replacement has been miles better.
