    S15 Rd 1 - Brumbies v Reds, Friday 13th February

Brumbies too good, so well drilled and great to see Pocock and Moore back. Same problems as last year for the Reds, sure they have plenty of injuries but you can't blame it all on that. The Brumbies look good for this year. Biggest risk for them is depth, but geez their first strength team...

    S15 Rd 1 - Brumbies v Reds, Friday 13th February

Reds don't even look coached at all, been a complete rabble. Brumbies have looked very good, their backline moves and ruck work have been so impressive.

    S15 Rd 1 - Brumbies v Reds, Friday 13th February

This is the same sort of defensive pattern the Reds ran last year that doesn't work. Passive and jockey. Red card for Horwill.

    S15 Rd 1 - Brumbies v Reds, Friday 13th February

Magnay caught out there. Brumbies just dominating the breakdown both on defence and attack.

    S15 Rd 1 - Brumbies v Reds, Friday 13th February

Well, Reds scrum goes from stable to advantage, so that's one good thing I guess. Meanwhile, front foot ball and Hunt is still 15m back.

So, anyone want to take bets on how long it takes Graham to be sacked from here?

Well worked try Brumbies. Hunt's inability to adjust his depth and predilection to kick indicates his inability to play the position. The coach is responsible for picking him there, but you can't deny he's been poor. The ruck work and passive defensive has been woeful from the Reds.

You can't tell me that Hunt's depth is just not plain incompetence right now. This decision to kick for goal at 21 - 3 down is pretty questionable.

    S15 Rd 1 - Brumbies v Reds, Friday 13th February

There was little to no pressure when Hunt stood 15m back on halfway on the rare occasion the Reds had the ball, or chipped straight to Coleman in the 22. We'll see in the second half, but the call to have Hunt at 10 is woeful.

Is it too early to call Hunt the worst buy of the season? Seriously, he was appalling. What was worse was when the camera showed him yelling at his own team for his shocking play. More of the same from the Reds this year. Ruck work is shocking, and they kick the ball away when the Brumbies...

    Crusaders v Rebels Friday 13th

Leafa's throwing is suspect anyway, amazed Sexton was overlooked as his set pieces are way better. Would also have been safer with Neville and Jones as locks, and Timani on the bench and the raw Jeffries to come in after a couple of games. Maybe it's a kick up the ass for Sexton and Neville...

    2015 S15R1 Bulls vs Stormers @ Loftus

Leyds on the wing? A fly half / fullback mainly I thought, interesting he starts though. The Cat Killer at 10, not so sure of a running game.

And I don't like Korczyk and Magnay on the bench, neither is ready in my book. Magnay is a good prospects, but he still looks too hesitant and he made a large number of defensive mistakes against the Crusaders in his short time on the park. He needs time. But, they are all the Reds have left...

    S15 Rd 1 - Brumbies v Reds, Friday 13th February

Reds injury/unavailability list is horrendous and the season hasn't even started. Holmes, Simmons, McDuling, Thomson, Quirk, maybe Beau, Tui not arrived yet, Cooper, Ant, Taps, JOC (James O'Connor). Of those, Holmes, Simmons, Thomson, Cooper, one of Ant/Taps and JOC (James O'Connor) are all first xv starters: that's 6 first...

When the Brmbies vs Reds games become try fests, it's usually the Reds copping a hiding, or has been in the past.

Finally renewed my Forever Reds membership as well. Mine was just a case of laziness, finally got around to renewing.

    Reds 2015

No McDuling Reg? I doubt they'd go with both Magnay and CFS on the bench, they are too similar a player in outside centres / wings. Plus, I don't think Magnay is quite ready yet. Give him another year or two. I would expect they'd go with Taps/Ant/Paia'aua where either Taps or Ant starts...

    Reds 2015

I have re-watched some of the game, and I have a few concerns still going into the first game of the season. First, the positives: scrum was solid mostly for the starting pack, apart from the great shove for the penalty try, we pinched a heap of their lineouts, our attack from broken play was...

    Reds 2015

Kite should be the next in line, then Faeo going by the NRC. With Kite in Canberra, and Faeo maybe unavailable, THP is looking rather worrying as I doubt Talakai could make 80 minutes. First choice, third choice, fourth choice, fifth choice all gone. Shades of 2007, where Eddie Jones told a...
