Ben Mowen has balls of steel and integrity to boot. You just can't help but admire the selflessness of the bloke. I like him as a rugby player but so much more as a human being. All the best to him and his family because he bloody well deserves it.

From a biomechanics perspective, what effect does holding the footy have on a blokes speed? I always thought balance was a big factor in sprinting and just curious what effect holding the footy has on this.
