Folou at fullback has the same (freakish) skills as Latham. Don't get carried away comparing the two because one has a whole career of experience and the other has just finished his first year of rugby. Experience will see him fine tune his positional play.

    Waratahs 2014

Big question. Is it actually a dog or one of those famous Waratah interns?
  3. Ruggo

    Waratahs 2014

That dog could lose a few pounds but what do you expect given it is off season? Rugby topics are a bit few and far between ATM.

At 10 in attack as you say, he moves side wards. Same issue Giteau had. Foley having showed he is more direct suits the 10 better. That extra space from 12 is something I think Beale can really exploit. Much the same way as Gits was able to do outside Cooper in 2010 and Larkham earlier in...

Sorry, just to clarify, I would leave Izzy at 15 for the reasons you say. I just refer to injecting him into the line in attack when required. Comming up from 15 will also insure he hits the ball at pace.

What the hell kind of dribble is this. Players evolve as their careers progress. It is ridiculous you need to go back two years to sight a bad miss tackle. Yes when Beale comes back given his situation, I am more than comfortable to give him a clean slate. If it is going to be a success, he...

Good looking jersey. One thing I would say is it needs a collar. All rugby jerseys need a collar.

    Waratahs 2014

I think you will be better equipped to deal with such a situation. Phipps will bring a better running game from the base of the ruck (an option but not an ideal one), plus splitting the backline and using AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Izzy to give that direct run to get the forward momentum back. With a duel play...

Beale would make a fantastic option at 12 for a side with an attacking mindset. The talk of his defense is nonsense because nobody has seen him defend in 2014. It just makes a naive presumption that players can't evolve their games. Him and Foley could combine well.

That jersey has actually inspired a color scheme for the bathroom in the house I am building. Regarding rugby jerseys I am old fashioned so think it is a shocker.

    Brumbies 2014

Some players have decided not to play on. Elton Flatley springs to mind.

    Brumbies 2014

It must be bloody hard for these players. It is easy to say it is only a game but it is what these blokes work for with immense effort and in the scale of the average life span there productive career time is only small. Pat McCabe strikes me as a smart young bloke and I am sure his decision...

    Rebels 2014

Weeks just hasn't remotely close to the quality he could be. The sky could have been the limit given how he played in 2010. I hope he comes good.

Whoops, had no idea about Saffy. Jones at 6 makes full sense then. Higgers did play a great tight game last year and did a great job of filling what you got from Delve week in week out. I also forgot about you picking up slightly mini Tamani.

REDS - Good cattle and a good support base, should be able to stay strong. WARATAHS - Had that breakout year last season. Coach now has full control over his cattle, playing a game that is generating genuine excitement amongst the fan base. Players will be more in tune with coaches desire and...

Is Jones more likely to play lock with Pyle, with Saffy at blindside? That still leaves a genuine three option lineout, with two incredibly hard working flankers that can free Higgers up to play a more dynamic running game.

Don't they just need a map of the North Shore and the Eastern Suburbs on the back of the jersey?

Sounds like Woody is copping the blame for the Force. Scape goat or just spite for abandoning a floundering ship? Lets not forget the Admin at the Force have a record of not being able to run a piss up in a brewery. I see no reason why Woody won't do a good job with the Reds. He had last...

I still prefer Ant at 12 but should he play 13, I would not rule out Lucas for 12. He has all the attributes, seems to work harder than Taps and has a more diverse game than Harris. What this debate highlights is that we have options which is great.

That is the exact reason I refuse to pre judge him in any negative sense. I have faith that he will be able to put his footprint on the job. He has the cattle and the backing of his employer so lets wait and see.
