The Impending Beale vs Folau vs Cooper debate

I am surprised Lindo that you havn't dug up a connection between Izzy and Wagga Wagga. Surely there must be a distant relative or something. :)

    Spring Tour Improvements

We look to have a balanced second row in Simmons and Horwill. Kev may not have been at his best but we know what his best looks like and Simmons has come of age. I don't say this with Reds bias but from a Wallaby perspective looking forward you can bank on these two consistently playing the...

The Impending Beale vs Folau vs Cooper debate

Izzy is the full back we have needed since Latham. Leave him there.

    Reds 2014

All sounds fancy but can we just settle for a statue of John Eales out the front of Suncorp at the Caxton St end. The concept of displaying the heritage is a great idea but the design doesn't excite me.

Is the TMO no longer required?

Barnes though well within his rights made himself look like an arrogant prick. His question should have been to provide the footage and he will make the call. It all came across as if he was undermining his peers. He treats them with the same contempt he does with the players. The blokes...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

Barnes is a frustrating ref. Can be very pedantic and kill the game from a spectators point of view. The flip side is it is up to the players to adapt. If you are going to be pedantic, you need to be consistent which I find Barnes isn't. A pedantic ref should have spotted the stomping on...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

I don't know if he is a goose or not. I don't know if he is a regular at this sort of stuff as I don't watch much northern hemisphere rugby. In this game he did some silly things without doubt. I think he was trying to wind us up, went over the top and failed. To be fair, us Aussies...

    Pic needs a caption

"Oh shit" would suit nicely. North is probably thinking "how the hell did he catch that.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

We often look towards league as the most plausable sport for conversion but Falou does demonstrate some of the skill transfer that AFL offers.

The Impending Beale vs Folau vs Cooper debate

Going off the presumption that Beale has sorted his stuff out and is back to his best, I would play him on the wing if in the starting 15. Falou at 15 is changing the way other teams take us on. No longer is it a case of just chuck an up and under and wait for the Wallabies to stuff it up...

    Spring Tour Improvements

A frustrating season but glad it has ended on a high. We have plenty of positive things to talk about. The things that stuck out for me on the player front are The rise of Rob Simmons. He has taken his game to a new level since about half way through the rugby championship. I think he was...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

What I also liked seeing was when Cooper led the team out for his 50th. The reaction from his team mates at his achievement. It is very evident he is well respected among his peers. He looked a bit choked up with emotion wearing that yellow jersey for the 50th time. The Wallabies look like a...

I think putting Falou at 13 will completely waste his sensational peripheral vision. Don't do it Cheika.

Would he vanish if he pulled his foreskin over his head and swallowed?

Ben Mowen survives alleged mutiny plot.........

Honestly I think Mowen has cemented a place in the Wallaby 23 but the level of competion at that 8 spot should all remain fit doesn't bode well for a first 15 spot. There could of been riggle room in the back row but Fardy I think has put some serious runs on the board for that starting 6 spot...

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

I was one one them and happy to admit it has worked out well. I think given the happenings of the past, people were still fair to be sceptical when the deal was done. Now he looks committed to Rugby I am happy to view it as an investment in the future. If the Wallabies keep on the upward...

That doesn't sound good. I hope it turns out for the best for him.

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

Wow, what a game. I'm a very proud Wallabies fan at the moment. Every bloke stood up in what was nothing short of a complete team performance. I also thought Mowen had a blinder. His best Wallaby game since the Lions. He led from the front. Those Welsh hits in the phases before the Izzy try...
