Shit Paarl, nasty blow for your mob.

Ben Mowen survives alleged mutiny plot.........

Each player who took the field in the England test can take ownership of that shit pile. Blaming Mowen for that is just stupid. Mowen has barely been tested as Wallaby captain. He is yet to face the off field part of the role domestically that comes with the job. I don't intend to cheapen...

    Wales v Wallabies, Cardiff, Nov 30 2013

He looks to have gone for consistency and building a stable combination. It sucks for the other players on tour but I think he has done the right thing for the Wallabies given the position they are in. With a tour this length, the big shame is we haven't had any midweek games.

I don't know what the big issue is regarding Lilo's goal kicking. The bloke had a bad day at the office on a crap surface. It was the exception and not the rule for a bloke who has been pretty bloody accurate all year.

I would take AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13. It might have a slight impact on attack but we really need the defensive experience for this one.

Izzy must stay at 15. Structure the back three to give him some licence to roam but he must stay at 15. He gets a good view of where to inject himself into the play at full back let's not forget.

Things are coming together for the Wallabies. Not perfect but the intent is obvious. We just need to finish strong against the Welsh. Our player pool including those coming back from injury will have 2014 super rugby to stake claims and Link will have a full season to assess what players he...

    France vs Bokke @ Paris

Scrum battle will be a ripper in this game. Bokke scrum best it has been in years and we all know what the French are capable of. Way to hard to tip this game. As a neutral, I look forward to it being a cracker.

I wounder how the Murrayfield surface will hold up. Generally one of the better ones in Europe but it was terrible in last weeks Bokke game. What are the set piece implications and who is the ref? Quite nervous about this game. Given the recent history, the Scots will go into this game full...

It probably takes the fella longer to kit up than the amount of game time he has been getting.

    Wallabies have a drinking problem?

I agree. I should of clarified it as a storm in a tea cup from the media. These fella's just need to use some common sense. I don't think anybody would begrudge them a discrete outing to the pub if they call it a night at a responsible hour. We all deserve and need a chance to wind down...

This is all a storm in a tea cup.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

In regards to the next Wallaby captain, I am confident it will be Horwill again. I expect his form issues to be a thing of the past when the next Wallaby squad is named. He will be one of the first selected.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Pocock first. Very simple that one. I think Mowen is on borrowed time but what to do with Fardy is the big issue for me. No offence to Palu but I just work off the position he will be injured again, so I come up with the back row of 6/Fardy 7/Pocock 8/Higgers I think that is a cracker of a...

    Ireland v Australia, Dublin, 16 Nov 2013

I will be very interested to see what side he plays on in Super Rugby next year at the Reds. I think you are right so I hope he plays consistently on the LH Side. Holmes can play TH so I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

Quade telling it how it is

I agree with what you are saying. The problem is at the time he was going through his troubles, some of the comments made against him were over the top and fair to say some of it was personal. Most of the comments came from people who new jack shit about the fella. Sometimes we only see the...

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

That's one way to view my post but the angle I am coming from is one of consistency. I think certain players should have been rested by now but the horse has already bolted. Now we seem to be finding our way, we should be not making changes. We should be taking one game at a time and that is...

    Scotland v Australia, Murrayfield, 5am 24 Nov 2013

Our biggest enemy is consistency. Changes to the team will not do a bloody thing to help this. No unforced changes for the next two games then everybody can have a break. I can't believe people are taking the Scots lightly. Has anything been learned from the past.

I agree. Also logically, your suggestion causes the least disruption when the change is made.
