I think he was injured at the back end of the Premier competition last season, so maybe he is recovering. I can't remember a point where Aiden Toua and Joel Faulkner were both injury-free

Just because the QRU has had success through the Reds, doesn't mean their financial resources are exactly booming. Yes they are in a better position then 2 years ago, but there is still not enough to be put towards funding risky investments like this.

Hugh Pyle is a massive man, cannot wait to see him in Wallaby colours. I thought he was unlucky not to make it last year. With Sharpe and Vickerman leaving we certainly still have depth in that position to back up Horwill (Pyle, Jones, Simmons, Timani)

I'm also suprised Will Chambers wasn't picked up, would of been a good signing for the Force or Brumbies right now. Costs and contracts come into it obviously, Ben Whittaker is probably still within his contract time, hence why he wasn't picked up elsewhere.

Personally I've thought all the hookers (except Tatafu whose been out of form), have been playing really well this year. Great for the wallabies with Hanson, Fainga'a, Charles all pushing for that 3rd hooker spot.

He's in the National Academy, and I assume running around for Uni pre-season. Also what's the point of this academy, we called up two players who I hadn't heard of before, surley someone like Simon Morahan or Mitch Felsman (before injury) would be a better option, bring through young players.

What's the thoughts on "turnstile Morahan"? He has been very weak in defence this year, not sure what to make of him.
