Powell has barely more international experience than McDermott. I’m thinking it’d be important to pair a rookie in that halfback/fly half position with an experienced head.

It all depends on who we have at #9. If it’s McDermott, it’s got to be JOC (James O'Connor) at #10. If we really want Lolesio to start, it’d have to be White at #9. I’d love both young guys to get playing time but I don’t think you can start both together against the ABs.

Yeah the two Peters boys played very well. Big lads too. So my only thought is that with Bryant at 7 it’s a big back row but maybe lacking a bit of speed/mobility? And yep my standout props on the Southside were the Villa guys too. I was actually a bit disappointed with the Iona 12 in the SLC...

Full disclosure - I didn’t see any matches in the Northside conference, and only the SLC games in the South. Don’t know his name but I thought the SLC #7 was consistently excellent. I’d be tempted to have him in there and shift Bryant to #6 or #8.
